- Today we look at my favorite action figure growing up, Snake Eyes. This is about who started Snake Eyes first. Who should get the most credit? The action figure creator, the artist, or the one who created the back story. I also go through important parts of the comic book and cartoon. The main differences as well. And my favorite part of the video, I go through ALL my Snake Eyes action figures.

Comin home after cashing in bottles at the grocery store to get my GI Joe monthly comic and a chico-stik and then BLAMMO!!!! Issue 21, one of the baddest ass comics I've ever read.Larry Hama was the G.O.A.T!!! He brought just enough grit. The real story was the comics. The cartoon was just visual icing on being a kid at that peak in toys. Snake eyes was just supposed to be a commando like it says. The ninja thing came along in the comic with the whole kung fu/ninja craze of the 80s but we weren't arguing. To us it was perfect.
I remember when I got issue #21 it was the oddest comic I had up til then. It was cool though just taking my time flipping through the pages and watching it all unfold like a movie.

Snake Eyes also played a role in my life, shaping the person I am in some way or at least inspiring it.
