- When three suburban moms get tired of trying to make ends meet, they decide it’s time to stick up for themselves by robbing the local grocery store. But when the manager catches a glimpse of one of them and the loot is far more than they expected, it doesn’t take long for the three best friends to realize the perfect getaway will be harder than they think. I don't see what you guys are seeing, because I think both Reno Wilson (the actor who plays Stan) and Retta are attractive people. There's nothing ugly about either of them. Also, have you seen Reno Wilson's wife? They've been married for over 20 years, and I'm sure she would fit your very narrow definition of pretty. So your idea that someone who looks like Reno wouldn't have an attractive spouse is ridiculous.

Loved Retta and Mae's comment about "natural and normal." I think all the gimmicky crap like "let's make a show that capitalizes on the issues if the day to make a buck and a ratings grab"is so vapid and lame. Great writer!! She actually writes interesting stories that draw us in.
And yes, Parenthood was SO WONDERFUL.

I know the show is supposed to be on the campy side for sure, and as hot as Rio is and as much as they eluded to them maybe hooking up..honestly, I wouldn't fuck someone who put a gun to my head repeatedly. Or threatened family and friends or forced me to do illegal shit. Her husband is annoying, dumb and disloyal and should go to the curb....but they haven't set up her character as the type to shoot her husband in cold blood. And if she did that's some cold shit that just doesn't mesh with her character at all. The point is all the woman have humanity and are trying to work within moral/ethical lines - bending them, sure - but I think the point is that bad times call for extreme measures which is relatable to most people's lives when they hit a point of desperation. If any of the three characters go blindly murdering people for the fuck of it, kind've obliterates what the writers are trying to do in keeping the humanity in the main characters.

Mae Whitman is an underrated actress, she seems to be a very nice person!! I don't know much about all her acting roles however she made me realize that she voiced Katara from Avatar TLA, I would love to meet her one day!! I see that she is a smart working talented actress and doing an some amazing work. I'm surprised that she still has her Katara voice to this day and she is so beautiful.

Talking bad about Rio as a character when Annie is a irresponsable mother with rude attitude, who always wants to come out as inocent when she is a mess, when she left her kid with a guy who knew like month ago, stole from a elderly woman, stole from the girlfriend of her ex, hating on that woman for being hardworking and lving a healthy focus on selfimproven life, sleeping with a married man with a kid on the way, and she has the nerve to scream at the other woman when they screw up, love Rudy she is such a great woman .

The problem with this show is how toxic the characters are (mainly the men) and how acceptable and normalized it is throughout the show. No one ever speaks up or cares when someone treats them like shit or is simply wrong
