Spotlights is a heavy, dreamy, atmospheric rock band formed by the married couple of Sarah and Mario Quintero. The duo makes brutally loud, mostly instrumental tunes that create the feeling of careening through deep space. Saw this band open just last night for Baroness in Columbus. They played such an amazing set. Totally blown away.
I was at this show as well. Had waited years to see them and met Mario and Sarah and they were the best. Sweet people. Also killer set.

It's like Failure, Hum and Deftones with their own unique vibe -- some Melvins and a touch of Helmet mixed in as well. Excellent.

Spotlights are the best band I have heard in the last 5 years. I discovered them by accident during Covid and have been a fan since. I listen to this band almost everyday. Incredible songs backed by impeccable music production and mixing. Mario (the bands writer, singer, and guitarist) produces and mixes the band as well. Truly an immense talent. Sarahs monster tone on bass is so addicting and Chris` drumming is the perfect addition.

Saw these guys in Maplewood, MN opening for Deftones. Not too many people knew what to think. Such a great sound.

Personally memorized by Chris's drumming - smooth, solid, powerful, tasteful. I get stoked when a drummer has a "voice" in the band. (and that deep snare tuning - yee!)

such a god damned wall of sound, love it. deftones' producers of their last couple of albums (especially gore) should take a look at how to make a guitar loud without it sounding like dull knives stabbing in your ear

Looks like an Orange CR120 head. Solid state amp and it sounds amazing! I've wanted one for a while now and I think this cemented my decision.

I'm here from the future. Yes, it's an orange crush pro 120 transistor head. It's modeled after their famous tube amp and it sounds amazing (I own the 65w version).

Looks like he's playing through two heads and stacks and one's an Orange. Something about Orange amps. Very warm and thick. Vasudeva and Hum put them to good use, too.
Kinda disappointed that all those keyboards sound are not played live...
