Bro tried to sneak a project zomboid gameplay in a fishing video and thought we wouldn't notice.
Damn they're catching on...
I did leave quite a lot of footage on the floor which sucks, but my plan was to progressively up the ratio until I had a skit for 90% of a vid. I'll need to be more subtle apparently.
@@Alex-Phillips But still, it’s a great fishing video I must say 🤩
I adore the actual family fishing trip LOL
Kinda sad that if you look at the most watched sections of the video, it has a massive spike after the fishing trip showing that a ton of people skipped it.
I love how you incorporate filmed segments in your videos! looking forward to seeing more :)
I already have the idea for the next segment planned out and it's easily the stupidest one yet, so excited to film it lol. Looking forward to posting more!
I crave these kinds of videos; I love total wilderness stuff and seeing what people make from nothing
Yeah, i really like theses survivalist style games/challenges, one game that really catches the "living in the wilderness" feeling and really recomend either playing or watching is Unreal World, its a pretty underrated considering the games complexity and mod community
If you love wilderness stuff and seeing what people make from nothing you'll love build 42
10/10 for the wholesome footage of fishing with your dad. That's what life is all about
please keep going this is massivley entertaining as someone who loves PZ in general and this wilderness survival run almost makes me wanna try it myself starting off as like a outdoorsman having to construct my own home to claim as a safehouse
There are some really cool things to explore on that wilderness map. A maze, cool ruins and such.
If you do a Part 2, I have additional mod recs:
Fauna mod so you can befriend a raccoon.
Surviving Through the Seasons to make winter arrive sooner
Expanded Heli events always adds a nice challenge
Animal hunting mod
I turned off helicopters to align with being in the middle of nowhere, but surviving through the seasons is an interesting one. Thanks for the tips and I'll keep an eye out for the structures.
I'd be careful with a base that only has one way in and one way out. That might come back and bite ya. Anyway love the content, it's like no other zomboid content I've ever seen
I hadn't thought of that, I was too hyped to have a wall between me and the dead. Thanks for the tip and I appreciate the encouragement.
What did Jess do? 😢
Wonderful video btw, was really fun to watch
Jess is a menace. I've seen that dog consume an entire loaf of white bread in am ungodly amount of time. Her dough eyes exist purely to lower your defences.
@@Alex-Phillipsjustice for jess
Great video man! never actually tried a wilderness playthrough, excited to see where this goes!
You should check if ruins and shacks have different "forage zones", and if they do, search for useful stuff. Garbage pile tiles are especially overpowered, but I'm not sure if this map has any.
Thanks for the tip! I'm a bit into it but I'll make sure to check them out. I didn't realise garbage piles are busted, if it can give garbage bags that would be amazing.
Yo these videos are so good man. So unique, fantastic editing, and high caliber. Keep it up, you’ll be huge.
Man I should do one of those foraging heavy/nature focused playthroughs. Usually within the first day of the game I raid a police station/gun store (the second one's rarer) and I get loads of ammo to immediately start culling the horde wherever I'm at. Banging rocks together seems like a way more chill experience
My favorite way to play Zombod is to turn off the zombies and have a fully realistic survival simulator 😅
@@zadarasimoleons1019 ahahah that actually sounds like an interesting idea. Thank God the devs gave us the sandbox settings to tinker with, so many ways to change your game
I know this vid is 2 months old now but being in combat stance actually gives you a buff to foraging and also levels your nimble while you move around so its a big help
well the beginning makes no sense if he is a park ranger he would know how to make a campfire
nice video, but Jess put a real bummer on the whole affair.
I kept trying to get good shots of Max but she consistently butted in which really sucked. Sorry for her presence.
I really enjoyed that, also love how in depth the game is not just for the zombie stuff
Love it, subbed and waiting for the next video. Downloading all of those wilderness mods you have. I desperately want to play a wilderness play through now
Awesome video! Whenever I watch your stuff I get this urge to go outside and make something - it’s a very nice feeling ^^
Great content as always. Keep it up Alex!
Damn the jump scare at 12:35 got me
hell yes, cant wait to watch this tonight
Captivating storytelling! Thoroughly enjoyed this and the 2nd one. I'm keen to see what else is in store for our thriving friend
Great video man I loved it! Looking forward to the next.
YES I'm so glad you did a wilderness challenge!! Love your vids
you just gave me an idea. dude goes for a casual camping in the woods, when he returns home, hell already broke loose
Love it! Subcribed! 👍 Keep the story going.
Great video keep it up
We love the dogs
This is very well made bro, keep them coming.
bro my names jess- i was caught so off guard when you randomly broke the 4th wall and slandered me
Didn't think I'd be throwing strays out there lol. I'm so sorry you share a name with that little monster.
I love this video it’s very entertaining and interesting plus the idea of surviving with nothing but what you create is really cool. I’m subbing and liking
Bruh your channel mus be so more popular, you're doing great stuff
May the algorithms bless you
its a pleasant surprise to randomly hear my own accent on the internet, loved the fishing trip segment :)
Was a lot of fun to watch. Thank you.
Wow this was a really good video ^-^
I was nice to watch the growth 😌
i love the fishing whānau clips lol
this man deserves more subs. these vids are entertaining as hell.
This is some crazy good stuff, i want more, suscribed.
Your narration is so cinematic and nice to listen to 😢
I love the family videos there. But justice for Jess! She’s a good girl 🥹🥹🥹
20:36 I was actually eating sunflower seeds while watching this.
Cracking one with my teeth "The cracking of sunflower seed shells"
tasting the Chile lemon lime seasoning "met the crushing of skulls"
wonderful, more of this plz.
I want to do this so badly now thanks to you.
Surprised you don't have more subs, keep it up :) I really like this type of content with Project Zomboid.
This was really unique and I enjoyed it!
Fantastic series and awesome editing. Subbed :)
came across your 2 hour long video and have since subscribed and check every new upload hoping for another movie style video, keep it up!
the river fishing video was sick
This feels like a completely different game at times.
Heya I'm loving the modpack, I can't find any of the loot buildings, did you manually add them or am I missing something? Thanks!
"The crunching of sunflower seeds meant the crushing of skulls..."
Me: 😙👌
Blueberries are always safe!
Damn, that fishing trip was a fine addition. I'm looking forward for the family zombie hunting day.
Perfection
Btw when will you stream again? The Streams are funny asf
Thanks rat! I've been meaning to, so sometime over the next few. Not too sure on the game though.
Thank you for this video! 😀🌻
Great vid, as always
bro ur channel is officialy one of my new favorits, this shit so cozy
love from sweden
Glad you're enjoying it! Love from New Zealand.
cant wait for the next episode!
this was awesome keep it up bro
This genre is gonna be amazing in b42
Man, I'm not a fan of this game but i tried to play it and watched some interesting vids about it. But damn... This was the best one. Thank you!
Cool vids
A park ranger that doesn't know how to light a fire? Damn dude.
They'll hire anyone these days
oh yeah kiwi bush intro!
How dare you ?!! justice for that sweet baby Jess
I *love* this video! Most interesting prpject zomboid let'splay for me 😊. Also that zombie near the well came out of NOWHERE 😱
Love your content
Also the real love clips
How did u didn't have thousand of subs this video are top tier
This was a great video!
Honestly the only thing that would make wilderness survival more entertaining would be wild animals and human npcs that have went feral and run around in bone armor and skin masks and sharpened bones as weapons😂
Canadian Jesus
This intro was amazing
I really hope you try something similar once the B42 comes out. That update is going to be all about wilderness gameplay.
Do you wanna play together sometime?
Love your videos man. You are really doing something unique. Do you like Guy Contact’s music?
Glad you're liking them! Nah, I haven't heard of them so I'll listen to some tonight.
The Aussie? Not really my thing. I like the opposite end of electronic music as I started with Hotline Miami, so intense kill a whole floor in a disco type.
I am listening to the latest Andre 3000 album and finding it alright which feels similar to Guy's work.
We gonna see more of this and how you tackle winter at all?
Definitely see more of this. I hadn't thought about winter, but that's a good idea. Someone suggested a mod that speeds up it's arrival so I might chuck it on later to up the difficulty.
@@Alex-Phillips Well while I got your attention if your accepting input would love to see the riverhouse expanded outwards a bit, maybe also build up a second story, preferably one slightly smaller then the lower story since your building with wooden nails so story wise it would make sense you would have some concerns about structurally stability regarding a second floor being too large.
What mod made it so you can see the log that youre carrying?
Amagine he didint even know they were zombies and only killed them to get sheets
Ok. Loved the video. Going to give you a subscription!
I love wilderness stuff, can't wait for b42 where i can just do it on my vanilla server with others instead of my singleplayer modded run
Also great video, looking forward to more in the future!
Great stuff, man. Algorithm bump
So no wearing zed clothing but picking up a screwdriver was fine
Kinda having a shit day, but I really enjoyed this. I hope to see a part 2 at some point.
I'm a little over halfway done with the draft so it should be done in about a week. Sorry to hear that, I hope it picks up for you.
Tbh if you can take a screwdriver from a zed you can take their clothes. Either take nothing from zombos or take what you can.
How did you craft a bowl? I have all the mods, and can't craft one.
You said whānau ! I didn't realise you are a Kiwi !
Am i right in assuming that one or more of the mods adds extra craftable from foraged stuff to it? Either way, great video, it felt like a real survivalist making it in the woods. Everything you could craft made at least basic sense (not sure what twine clothing is too be fair)
I like jess the dog she is cute
how did you make the nails, I can't figure it out.
Love watching your videos! Also is Jess a field bred springer spaniel?
Not sure on the field bred, but looking at the pictures I would guess so. I only know she's a pure bred Springer, I didn't know there was a distinction between field/show till now. Glad you liked it!
14:20 YOO NEW ZEALAND MENTIONED?? KA PAI WHANAUU
Now i have an question i heard it was an river so i want confirmation cause rivers are an lot more saver to drink out then lakes cause the water is moving
moreeeeee pleaseeee its so good
Yeah because making a club with a branch can't be done until I own shoes?
Why did you craft wrap to wear when the zombies you killed had clothes, and shoes?
Great video :) I'll have to subscribe so I can hopefully see another Episode with this survivor.
Do you stream these play throughs?
I stream every now and then, but haven't found a good rhythm + usually play games sporadically.
my fellow new zealander
Bowling water using a wooden bowl
Yeah youd burn the bowl to ash tbh
