    I'm so bummed that I bought the wrong faucets. :-( The price isn't that different from what I got. The next two are going to be these. AND the springs. I see what you meant about how easy it seems these can be bumped open. That's a scary thought.

      That's right, I learned the hard way and spilled about 4 gallons of one of the best New England IPAs I ever made down the driveway....

      You can use poppet springs in the regular taps, they work fine.

    Can the springs be put on the standard faucets?

      No these are specific to intertap faucets because of the plunger/stopper location inside. I'm a standard faucet. It's much further back towards your shaft that goes into your keezer/refrigerator. However, I have seen others put different types of springs in a standard faucet, but they had to cut them down and do trial and error to get them to fit.

      You can get springs for standard faucets, if you have spare poppets the springs from those work nicely.

      Good to know. I've seen a few people retrofit some standard faucets. Never tired it myself. 🍻
