Can a USB type C to Type A be use to operate the ID24 intead of the USB C to C thats provided in the box? My PC doesnt have a USB C ports, however all the USB PORTS are USB 3.0 Ports
Thank you audient then am confident now to place my order thank you audient.. Also it's just one USB C TO C cable comes in the box right? If that's the case, I want to know which brand USB A TO C would you recommend me purchasing to make sure it function effectively. I wish both cable would ship withing the box tho like ID44.
Hi, I had a problem in Master Mix mode. My headphones always play MONO. When I started the test on the right and left channels, I realized that the right channel does not make any sounds at all, BUT if you turn on MUTE mode, then suddenly a sound appears there. Please help me. In Cue A, everything sounds fine
Thats a little strange, output 1+2 in Pro Tools should direct directly to Analog 1+2. Can you check your I/O setup in Pro Tools and ensure that the Output 1+2 channel is assigned to Output 1+2 of the Audient?
How can I switch between studio monitors and headphones in ID22? I have sound only on my headphones and not monitors. I'm going crazy here. Can somebody help me please?
This is likely a mixer setting that needs adjusting. Can you please send a message to support@audient.com with screenshots of your current setup and our team will try to help!
Hi there, thanks for your message. The iD24 does not have a dedicated standalone option. It also isn't compatible with iOS so there isn't a control app. I recommend having a read of our compatibility information on the Audient helpdesk.
Hi, I bought the iD14 Mk. 2 a while ago, because my PCIe sound card started having noise issues in my new pc case. Am I too stupid to find a simple EQ for my audio? I don't make music or play instruments. I simply use Sennheiser HD660S and an AT2020 XLR mic which is connected to a DBX 286S and that goes into my interface then. Also is there a way to set my headphones as default? Everytime I restart my pc I have to change my input from the speaker icon on the left to the headphones and turn up the volume to 100 again. I'm no audiophile and I can't seem to find a solution for this. I would simply like to have the option to make EQ profiles so I can turn off the bass when playing games. I would also love to know how I can access a compression setting, because the headphones blow out my eardrums in some games. If anyone can help I would be very happy! Thanks
Hello there, The iD mixer doesn't have a built in EQ for your playback or recordings. You can however make use of the Sonarworks SoundiD Reference software we offer via Audient ARC when you register your unit which gives a wealth of tuning options for your outputs. The headphone volume will reset to zero on the unit when powered up as a safety feature to ensure loud audio doesn't suddenly play when plugged in.
@@Audientworld Makes sense why I never figured out how to get to an EQ. I think I did register my product. Is that Sonarworks SoundID Ref a plugin or is that something else? Will I also be able to set compression with the Sonarworks? Thank you very much for replying to this comment. I have tried countless discords and wrote to a couple of youtubers never getting a reply and I started to feel like I made a mistake by purchasing this. Thanks once more!
Sonarworks SoundID reference is a standalone application that will allow you to add equalisation to your outputs to get a flat response. It doesn't allow you to add compression to your signal
@@Audientworld i downloaded the software and it looks really good. I'm pretty sure that I will be buying the full version. Is there another software I could use to achieve compression? Sonarworks has a DB-limiter, but that just limits the max volume. BTW: you are a legend. thank you very much for taking the time to reply to my weird questions. I really appreciate it.
I'm not aware of any software that would add compression in the same way that Sonarworks applies EQ I'm afraid. Hopefully someone else may have a suggestion?
Am I the only person in the world wondering how to set a precise and reproducable monitoring level when only having those LEDs to control it? Do these marks around the main Knob have any sense or function?
The marks around the scroll wheel don't allow you to accurately recall a volume setting I'm afraid. We are looking to add features that would allow for an accurate volume recall in the iD mixer app in a future update.
@@Audientworld What a pitty.... As I'm working in audio post production this is mandatory. Always having to look into the software wouldn't do for me. The only thing I could imagine is to have a setting which displays the precise value on the computer screen when changing it
Im sorry to hear you're having problems with your iD24. Can you send message to support@audient.com and we'll be able to help resolve any setup issues that may be causing this.
Hello, new customer here! I am having struggles figuring out how to loopback on the iPad Pro using Logic Pro. Is this possible and how to do so? Thanks!

Yes, a USB-A to USB-C cable can be used instead of the USB-C cable included.

@Audientworld Thanks for the answer. I don’t understand how, but it works))

Can we connect midi keyboard with this?
The iD24 doesn't have MIDI I/O I'm afraid, but you can easy pick up a USB MIDI interface to use alongside it!
Guys, I am using protools and the main output 1-2 of protools is using channels analogue 3-4 of Audient id24. How do I change this?

do you have to use audient software?
The iD mixer application just allows you to control the monitoring of the iD24. You can use the iD24 with any DAW you like.
