@@NosajKnows the solos are something else Bibby didn’t have much of it like in sound check and anything plus basically is lead by the guitar in an impressive way this is my opinion
Ten years ago, jesus christ... I remember ordering the balcony and waiting to pick it up from the local record store. Time needs to chill the fuck out man..
The comparison is odd because this is a purposely stripped down session. Van is playing acoustic and Bob is playing very quietly with a cloth to mute the drums.
@@wideningcarrot6 he's a dick lol. my band opened for him and he didn't make any effort to speak to us or thank us. his new band is mediocre af. still, he let us play so there's a plus.
@@AufdemLaufenden777 "Diffentitly Agree!" You know what, check it Mate I've been doing my best to get them all on a major label. Hey as long as they keep turning their main focus on their birds, just maybe they pay better than EMI? Take Care and Be Well Friends: 🇬🇧 ®️.
I love this band, I found a couple months back and their songs hit my soul. My good friend since grade 6 we were cat fished for a few years 😂🖖 but we never figured out who they really were; so hearing their music, that fitted with the situations we went through even on the cyber world makes my heart feel peace lol
☆Catfish and the Bottlemen☆ Was a great Band. Formed in Liverpool, England in '2009'. They all together practiced very hard, even when they weren't together all of them practiced over the Internet. Also, they wrote their own songs and Music. By the time of Mid. June about the 25th, '2014'. They as a 'New Band' mostly from Liverpool, England. Had decided to do a live session for, T-TV in England. This is what upcoming new Bands did at that time. I truly thought they sounded fantastic, with a great 'Backbeat'. Although, 2 out of 6 promoters felt, given a go otherwise. Which was a crushing blow to each band member. They never did recover as a Band. 'Catfish and the Bottlemen' reluctantly disbanded in the late fall of '2016'. I thought for certain they were going to get more than 2 Offer's, that one or both were worth accepting. Perhaps we'll see them resurface sometime soon, you never know? Take Care and Be Well Friends: 🇬🇧 ®️.
I am looking forward to their third album but wonder if they are capable to make a another album without Billy. He has a new band, they sound quite the same as CatB.
9mSg6 They're all really decent and normal guys. I've been following them since they started up in Llandudno and knew them before. Being from such a small town jealousy is easily come across (as seen by ConGaming). Ryan is a genuinely awesome lad...
I am going to have to agree with 'lest123'. The balcony is a vastly superior album to the ride and a great deal of that difference is due to billys' riffs. Whilst i enjoy bondys' stuff and it is very technical, it leans towards psychedelic rock whilst billys' is more 'no-nonsense' driving riffs that tap into the rhythm section better and thus create a huge drive which crowds can jump around to. Crowds can also more easily can sing along to them. From interviews it has always seemed like they as a band were all about the live aspect of music and created music for people to jump about to (correct me if im wrong) and so with that in mind I feel that Billy fit better because he created riffs and lead guitar parts that echoed that mindset. On the other hand i do get your point, he has always felt a bit to serious to fit in when in interviews or when they played live. He was a bit more reserved than bondy is. In terms of fashion though he has always worn the black indie style which the others have so in that respect he never looked out of place - it was his attitude that was out of place. I like bondys guitar parts on the second album but I vastly prefer the first album. It was just so much stronger and just about every song was decent - there are a few shitty ones on the new album in my opinion but that is of course subjective. Anyway bottom line is I preferred their music when billy was lead guitar and thus therefore I personally think he was a better 'fit' (however you want to define it) for the band. but then again this is the youtube comment sections - so fuck me right
One of the most underrated voices of a generation. Flawless
I still come back to this every so often and realise how fucking massive they are now - miss you boys
ok seriously this band is my life with these acoustic sessions jesus... there so good
At first i thought this was in b&w but then i realized Van is just pale :P
This definitely has a filter on it
it's been decolorized
Hahaha😁
Literally this entire band is perfect. I love how Van's voice goes so well with the drums and bass and literally everything else bye
aww Ewan McGregor's face on the drum kit is awesome
Lol I remember the first time I saw it in a "Live Lounge" video. Instantly fell in love.
Mollie Green agreed 10/10
Then Ewan in Hourglass video. If they showed up on stage together I could die. And be happy.
Pre-Bondy Days....
DimmestStream9 bondy is better than bibby

No hate on Billy because I came after he left but bondy rocks a bit harder 😂

As a guitar player, I can tell bondy is a more developed guitar player.

Van looks like snow white
Why would the guitarist leave one of the best bands od today??
the band was very small when he left, and judging by this video it doesn’t exactly look like he’s enjoying himself
They kicked him out
Where's bondi?!
that's billy bibby, the original guitarist bondy came in later
billy left and then bondi joined and replaced him
