We have had several people comment about Phil's. I definitely want to go back there once we get a chance, but unfortunately Lynn is allergic to shellfish and we have to be very careful when we go to places like that.
Agreed. They are convenient if you are traveling and not interested in staying at a Walmart. We are staying here in about 3 weeks as our ½ way spot from LA to Eureka.
If you still need furniture, there's some beautiful furniture for free on the Next Door app in Santa Clarita (Valencia) on Plaza Chiva, cross street Avenita Rotunda. Let us knoe if you still need furniture for your apartment, or even for you RV. I saw that today and thought of you guys! This furniture looks great in the picture! They even have a china cabinet! Looks like very nice wood furniture! Have a great day!
Love your story and have followed you for 15 months. I wish you would not turn away from your camera half the video- your voice is lost. Please turn the camera or your body. And try to limit the “umms and uhhs”. Your reviews will get even better. Don’t hate the messenger. ❤️
Definitely not going to shoot the messenger. I completely understand and catch myself doing it more and more so I have been actively trying to not do it or edit it out. As far as the Turning Away from the camera, unfortunately that sometimes something I don't catch it until afterwards. Also not something I can easily edit around. However, that's the downside of using the GoPro. When I'm using are larger camera it's not usually as bad. All learning experiences. Thanks for the comment though. I appreciate the feedback.
Hi Guys. I'm from Central California and this is our coast go to. FYI it's cold in summer too if it's an overcast day. I hope you went to Phil's fish market. It's a definite must for seafood. Up the coast in Watsonville is a KOA near Manresa beach. Manresa is a really nice beach if you want to go in the water. Moss landing is more for walking along. I wouldn't go in the water there because all the seals attract unwanted predators. Hope you enjoyed your stay. Thanks for sharing.
Maybe next week. Went to Asilomar beach trail and had chowder and sourdough on Monterey wharf. This week went hiking outside Yosemite along Merced river to see flowers in bloom. Weather permitting, maybe we'll have a beach day near Pajaro dunes and finish the day at Phils for seafood. There is a lot to see in the central part of California. Enjoy.
We didn't make it to Phil's. Unfortunately, Lynn is allergic to shellfish and we have to be very careful when we go to places like that. However, the next time we go down there I definitely want to go try it out. I've heard really good things about their Chowder from several people now.
So sorry. Definitely a caution. They serve shrimp, crab and lobster and I imagine there's a possibility of cross contamination. It's still a pretty area and weather is moderate all year long. Take care and happy travels.
When rating the campgrounds, give a few ratings: Location (close to points of interest, good or bad neighborhood, freeway noise), Campground Overall (appearance, cleanliness, staff), and Amenities (utility connection condition, WiFi, trash, dog parks, pool, playground, hiking trails).
We were at the same exact spot, site 23, on Friday the 17th of April in the afternoon. What a small world!
Have fun. Puppies seem to love it.
They loved it!
Love that little KOA.
Hope you walked to Phil's.

Koa are nothing more than a parking lot with hook ups. Everyone on top of each other. I like your Tree art board . A great craft idea.

Interesting with the different ‘levels’ of KOAs. We’ve learned the hard way. 🥱
They are all so different, and you never know what you will bet until you are there.
I briefly lived in moss landing. It smells!
Hahaha!!!!
That's so nice of you barbyl,,,,,,, hello 👋 how are you doing I hope you are having a wonderful day, I really appreciate your comment

Good idea!
We stick to private owned rv parks
Why is that? I've heard that from others, but they all seem to be about the same.
KOAS are expensive...a mom and pop is usually cheaper.
