- If you think about premium cars, the first ones that come to your mind are propably the big 3 german manufacturers ! In my opinion other cars can be premium aswell! Let me show you what might be premium about the Renault Talisman and what surely is not! And if it can live up to French cars from the past that certainly were premium!

Kinda brings back what renualt used to be in the past. Quality. Hope they bring out similar cars in the future.
Unfortunately they go all electric and all SUV, i think they go into the wrong direction..do you consider a SUV?
What a car ! What a descent family car. I’m sure the wagon version is even better. Super nice looking, way more interesting than many German entry level rivals costing much less.
You forgot to mention the Bose Sound System right. To be honest the unique downsides are the doors not illuminated like the dashboard is, the steering wheel seems like a Clio.
People who say French cars can’t or aren’t good enough need to learn more about how nice the Citroens C5, c6, Peugeot 605, 508 where way ahead of their time. The new 508 Peugeot is a massive car, super height tech and specs. ( you must find one to film !!! ).
@@hycharlison thank you my friend, yes i didn‘t mention the sound system true story but i don‘t want to showcase it because of youtube copyright problems haha. And yes renault puts the same steering wheel on almost all their cars kinda sad but mercedes also does it i think ahha. I would love to film some other french cars like peugeots or citroens but for now i only filmed my own cars. Hard to find some and you know with 117 subs you can‘t really reach sny partners like a dealership that would borrow you a car to film. Thanks for commenting 💪🏻
@@ViveLaCoupe it’s sad that this cars are all ending up being SUVs now. I live in England and here I must say I haven’t seen any Talisman before. I don’t know if Renault sold them here or not. I know that up here Renault sold a lot of Clios, Kadjars, Scenics, Meganes.
@@ViveLaCoupe have you thought about renting French cars at those car rentals or apps down there where you live ? Also you could request viewers to film their cars. It would be cool to have more French cars on channels like yours.
@@hycharlison i will do my best in the future. I hope the channel will grow and we can reach more people to show the world how great french cars are! Renting them might be pricey but i will find for sure a Solution in the future
@@hycharlison unfortunately the Talisman wasn‘t sold in the UK, as far as i know french cars aren‘t really popular in your country right? It‘s a shame especially because there were so many legendary cars that came from France in the past… As you implied Renault turned to a Suv only brand now and they are destroying their rich heritage with dumb ideas…

@@ViveLaCoupe Absolutely right. It's like everyone suddenly became a farmer, or too old to get into a normal car 😀.
I think all SUV owners should pay extra tax because they present greater danger to pedestrians.
@@artpan4376 haha while i disagree on the tax part i have to admit you are right. I don‘t hate them but i hate it when manufacturers produce nothing else than suvs. That‘s also a reason why i want to grow this channel, having a voice in the internet can lead to some influence on the car brands and sometimes force them to change their politics! As there aren‘t many channels focusing on french cars, i hope one video will blow up haha🤙

Amazing. Love this car. My parents used to have a grey Intense break Talisman. It was the biturbo 160 diesel model. Man I loved riding in the back of that car!
@@NormalSub26 i can only imagine i drove the 1.6 dci in the megane with only one turbo. Was it a nice feeling in the car? I mean the 2.0 dci is great but the 1.6 dci with biturbo must have been crazy
@@ViveLaCoupe I didn’t get to drive it because I was too young to have a license back then. But the power delivery was very smooth and enjoyable. It was very confortable at high speed. Easily the best Renault car I have been in

Love to see Talisman review! Maybe you have tested top petrol engine? How does it compare to a diesel?
@@andriusk5886 i tested the engine in an Espace not a Talisman the 1.8 is a great engine! It feels a little but more powerful i would go for the 1.8 but the diesel is also a good choice. I would say the 1.8 feels more mature while you know the dci has the advantages of a Diesel of course! Thank you for the comment! Feel free to ask me anything 💪🏻

@@beggs8836 no bro not really like a Dacia common let‘s be fair. I get it that you don‘t like it but it is actually nice made of nappa leather, flattened bottom are perforated and nice alu elements. But thank you for sharing your opinion🙏
Mercedes C class has soft material on the glovebox :)
