- Join me for a mornings perch fishing at a beautiful glacial lake in the Lake District. This is one of the most amazing spots I’ve ever fished, and I was lucky enough to catch some amazing perch as well!

Epic scenery and engaging narrative. Just about to emabark on my perch campaign and this has helped with some fresh ideas.
Absolutely loved this video mate. The purple hillslopes, the vastness of the venue and some stunning Perca fluviatilis. Simply stunning ❤

Leader touch to count as a catch. There's got to be some BIG perch in there somewhere, but they don't seem to like big lures so you have to get through all the little ones first. No matter what the size they are beautifully marked from those lakes.
Yeah agree mate, seems like the perfect spot for a seriously big one. Bar that first big one I got they were all perfect looking, so it’s a good spot for them for sure! Might head back there this autumn. All the best, Niall

Lovely location! Belting film too! I should have taken a jigbait set up to ullswater last spring, instead of blanking on wet fly for trout!
My standards are a little lower, anything 6 oz plus is a good un!
