One fairly small project I’d love to see is a butterfly garden out there. Probably have to wait untill spring, but you can buy native flower seeds and just toss the seeds out, in the winter. Milkweed would be a great option although they don’t flower the first year, they will attract monarch butterflies that will lay their eggs on them.
Monarchs are all over Canada. I didn't know they would breed that far south. cool. I'm on their migratory path on the great Lakes and I definitely see less of then lately.
Have you thought about stocking the pond with a wider variety of wildlife? You would create a healthier ecosystem and may be able to bring more native species to the area. Either this or incorporating more native environments to capture wildlife. Like planting large wildflower fields or snags.
Cant believe its already been a year.... I've watched every video in this series and love them all, cant wait to see them up around the 6 to 8 pound range.
I would love to see a very biodiverse area next to the pond as a project. With a lot of herbs, flowers, structures and different soil types to attract as many plants and animal species. Especially the smaller ones like reptiles and beetles.
I love watching this series so much, such a contrast to my usual high energy gaming content, I can just sit back and see all the progress in the pond. It helps a lot too that the commentary is very nice, as well as the great camera work and videotography. Appreciate all your hard work BamaBass!
I would like to see more drone footage and the patterns and schooling of bass. I’ve been fishing for 45 years and have never seen those angles. Thank you for contributing to the greater good by creating these videos. Amazing work.
I love watching all the variety of wildlife you have on your property. The baby raccoon was cute. George is getting old, but is still quite spritely and chunky.
Wow the bass are getting bigger and meaner. Cool to see them schooling. I think the content you always make is great. It shows all the wildlife and the pond looks wonderful! Good stuff! Gotta be hot out there the south has been hot this year from what I hear.
Dude keep it coming! I have watched from the beginning of the pond build and the only thing I don't see enough of is the little one helping you! This is exactly how I grew up and it is the best part in my memory bank! Thank you for taking me back! Seeing her with you is makes the little girl inside me smile!
I love watching your pond transform. I put in a smaller 1/2 acre pond about 20 years back. Your equipment amazes me! you're doing things that I wouldn't be able to do, so watching you do them is really cool! Thanks
I know the book says "thou shall not covet" but damn!!!!! Absolutely beyond amazing. I just caught a little 1" largemouth fry today with my daughter, I would absolutely love to see her raise this fish into something greater. The level of love and respect you have is phenomenal. May God and mother earth continue to bless you and your family
I had a small pond and large tank for bass and also studied them for years, and my opinion on getting them to grow faster is that you could feed them thousands of minnows and they would slowly grow. However if I fed the bass a fish it could barely fit in its mouth and it had a difficult time getting down, it would suddenly grow much larger. I believe the bass has a mechanism in its brain which tells it must grow to eat the available food. I cannot prove this, but I do believe it. Your bass eating brim is going to really kick this off.
You mentioned underwater tag scanners in the past to see swimming and migration patterns. Is there an update on that? That would be so awesome. Especially if you have many sensors you could create a live map of sorts and visualize the bass in the pond. That could be a fantastic web app as well, so fans could watch their favorite fish. That could be gamified too. I'd be willing to help with the programming too :)
Make sure to use plastic containers on the Humming Bird feeders. I have found that glass gets far to hot and they won't feed from Glass in the hot of the summer. Plastic stays far cooler. Love the channel!
Perhaps you can show other aspects of the farm - such as the fields, the farming errands and stuff... And maybe include the rest of the family in the videos more - especially in the summer! Your videos are amazing and fun and interesting. Please keep up the amazing work! 🙏
Aaah yes. Its Sunday, bama bass uploads. Just got off work, finally sitting down going to enjoy this weeks episode how yall doing? Hope everyone had a good week and this next week is even better ❤❤
I think you're ready for a 24/7 live feed, From eagle nest to wildlife cameras all around. Underwater by the lights at night. In the duck house. I just love watching wildlife on your channel. This channel reminds me of that show Sunday Morning on CBS back in the day. This is one of my favorite channels.
AWESOME as always!!!! Love the new drone shots I just can't get over all your new ideas. Thank your wife for being so understanding and patient with you on all the time you put in on this I just hope you treat her well because you are so very blessed a happy wife a happy life.
Another great video in this series. I would like to mention that hummingbirds make open nests, so maybe an open platform would be more attractive to them than a closed nesting box. I love these videos, best of luck!
Nate Makes did a really great job on the table. The pond has come a long way. I started watching maybe two to three vids in to the build. Been waiting for the new video posts and ever amazed at the new content when they come out. Its really nice to start out my work week with such clever animal/outdoor creations. Thank you and keep em coming.
Next project should be wild flower planting, most states have incentives to plant wild flowers, typically a 5 year contract and they pay the land owners to plant them, in addition you can start a honey bee hive. Pollination of your plants plus honey.
Just more of the same please. Love the new drone footage and game cams. Some really beautiful wildlife photography in this episode, so soothing to watch. Thank you all.
I love the nighttime-lapse shots. I'd love to see an "astronomy" version on a moonless night. Then afterward, edit in label animations for astronomy items like important stars, planets, star clusters, nebula, and galaxies. That would be amazing!
I'd suggest planting milk-weed near your hummingbird feeders. It's a hearty plant with bright orange and yellow flowers. The hummingbirds and butterflies love them.
Been watching since your small pond was built in your backyard. I love seeing your progress and evolution. If you still have an availability to name a fish starting with the letter "T" it would be really cool to see a fish named: TRON You also asked for video suggestions. I really think it would be cool to see just how much work goes into this project from a 3rd person view. A good example of what I'm thinking is: Matt's Off Road Recovery. He literally videos his daily tasks and posts it on UA-cam. If you did a few videos showcasing with a 3rd person view I really think it could change things up for you a bit and give viewers a new angle.
Future ideas. The aerial views show that small fish don't have many places to hide from the aggressive bass. In a natural lake or pond there is more vegetation for the prey items to shelter. How about creating an safe zone in a small section of the pond? Maybe a half circle of small mesh fencing from the shore? The prey items could still travel back and forth but the bass could not enter. The safe zone might allow the prey to build up their populations. Also it would be great to track down Bonnie and Clyde to see what they are up to.
One idea for future projects: a water fall on the side of the lake using pumped out water (perhaps even a solar powered pump with tutorial on how to do it)! I think it would be cool to see wildlife interacting with it too. :)
I remember how exciting it was when Bonnie and Clyde were moved into the backyard pond - it’s wild how far you’ve come! I’m sure new viewers may not be as interested, but I’d love to see more of the backyard gang. Also, you could always go fishing for new additions to the 5-acre pond. Or save some more turtle eggs!
You should go out and catch a bluegill, then put in the tank with Mr Tiger and name him Deputy. Feels like a fun idea and would be a journey for you and to all of us
As for ideas, I think it would be really cool to set up several underwater cam stations in high traffic areas that you could get some bass strike videos with... another would be to put a fish assessment table/water proof cabinet on the back corner of the pier (with built in ruler & id scanner & cubby for a laptop & solar powered generator battery)... this would make your fishing time more enjoyable by staying in the action without having to leave the pier.
You can consider creating a densely planted creek, originating from one side of the pond and reaching the next. Or expand one of the shallow ends to make a small Riparian Forest.
My little girl loves the ducks, you asked for an idea... can you do 'A typical day as a Duck at the pond'? Maybe showing your raised ducks with wild ducks & how they get along. We love the video's & are watching them every week they come out! thanks again!
Table looks great. I’ll definitely check out the build. So many interesting things going on at the pond and it’s good to see that the bass are finally big enough to reduce the bluegill population.
You may be interested in the LONGEAR SUNFISH because some of them will have brilliant red and/or blue coloring which will of course pop on video for your viewers to see. I caught soem here in Arkansas and thought I had found something exotic carried here by birds migrating from the Amazon river area. Lol, they are very interesting fish.
I can't wait for November to see the aquascape pond... I sure hope you are considering a recreational pond for your kids instead of just the normal one... It would be an awesome place to hang out in. Have you considered putting in Lilies in your pond in pots so that they don't puncture the clay layer. They would add so much colour and vibrancy on top of protection for your fishes. Like many others, I look forward to your videos weekly...
I would love to see more about the bass. I caught a 7 pound bass in a large tank in Texas when I was a kid. I think I was about 10 years old and it’s something I will never forget. Again love your video.
Let’s go my favorite way to end my Sunday
🙏🏼 VERY NICE 🇺🇸🦅

@@highstreetkillers4377 they come from Mexico then all through the southeast on their way to Canada.
Always happy to see an update on the Crimson Oak pond! I'm glad you guys are still sharing updates on it.
Have you thought about stocking the pond with a wider variety of wildlife? You would create a healthier ecosystem and may be able to bring more native species to the area. Either this or incorporating more native environments to capture wildlife. Like planting large wildflower fields or snags.
Without a doubt my favorite series on UA-cam. I hope this goes on forever, I look forward to it every week so much!!
I swear
same love it
This videos gonna hit a million uncle bama! I’m calling it!
Easily the best series on UA-cam. Week in and week out.
That table with the amount of detail done is just amazing!
I don't know how I got here, but this is my new favorite UA-cam channel and series. I want a pond now.
Cant believe its already been a year.... I've watched every video in this series and love them all, cant wait to see them up around the 6 to 8 pound range.
That table is bad ass!!! Attention to detail is a 10/10 🔥
Everything about your property is Beautiful. Thank you for sharing your family's progress along the way. 🙏🏼🇺🇸🦅
I would spend every day fishing of that island. Literal paradise.
This channel is like a childhood dream unfold. Good job.
Probably one of my favorite youtube series to date. I haven't missed an episode yet. You seem very down to earth and humble. keep up the great work
Dude, that table is not a 10 but a 20 out of 10. Absolutely awesome!
Agreed man
I would love to see a very biodiverse area next to the pond as a project. With a lot of herbs, flowers, structures and different soil types to attract as many plants and animal species. Especially the smaller ones like reptiles and beetles.
Awesome Table.........BamaBass is the Best Channel on YT👍👍👍
I think an underwater tour of the pond would be awesome. Some up-close underwater shots of the bass sounds like a challenge!
I was gonna say this too would be interesting to see
Rc submersible drone
@repentandbelieveinJesusChrist4 stay drug free
That table is really great. I'm sure you'll enjoy it for years to come. Like the way things are moving along.
This is a nice series. Seeing these bass grow and your joy in catching them has made me happy.
I love watching this series so much, such a contrast to my usual high energy gaming content, I can just sit back and see all the progress in the pond. It helps a lot too that the commentary is very nice, as well as the great camera work and videotography. Appreciate all your hard work BamaBass!
For the content suggestion - I love these pond update videos that you do! Please keep doing them, I look forward to them every time they come out!
Wow! What detail on that table!!!
Nate did a phenomenal job with the table. Hat's off to him.
I would like to see more drone footage and the patterns and schooling of bass. I’ve been fishing for 45 years and have never seen those angles. Thank you for contributing to the greater good by creating these videos. Amazing work.
Congratulations on one year bass anniversary. Been watching from the beginning and you sure are living the life.
That table is 11/10! Very impressive. T = Thundar P = Pheeshy

This is exactly how I grew up and it is the best part in my memory bank! Thank you for taking me back! Seeing her with you is makes the little girl inside me smile!
That's just an amazing ecosystem you've put together. I hope it gives you joy for years to come.

I’d love to see another underwater drone and did you ever give a price breakdown? Especially for the prawn pond.
Bamabass should become a Netflix series. Let's go 👊
The worst thing about this channel is that I can’t watch new videos every second of every day! I love your content! It’s in my top 5 fave channels!
I agree. I wish he would put a Web cam in Moby's pond so we can check in on them at any time.
The area around the pond is growing in and developing so nicely.
I've been watching this journey from the start, it's so good. I could just watch you guys walk laps of the pond giving updates , tips and advice
Hi. Since you're putting out houses, try bluebird houses, bat houses, owl houses and Marten houses. All of them would be beneficial around your pond
Yeah and a outhouse and wh0r3house would be nice too
Lots of different houses with live stream cameras perhaps. That would be so cool
Been here a while and very glad that pretty much everything you set out to do is done. Much congratulations to the BamaBass Family!
That replication of the pond is outstanding!! How cool.
Nate is actually an artist . He is a modern day renaissance man that can build anything
I like the junk you put in the natural pond, really looks natural with all the plastic tubing, carpets, cinderblocks, etc.
Make sure to use plastic containers on the Humming Bird feeders. I have found that glass gets far to hot and they won't feed from Glass in the hot of the summer. Plastic stays far cooler. Love the channel!
I look forward to your updates. Can't wait for the first 3 pounder.
The table is absolutely stunning!
Perhaps you can show other aspects of the farm - such as the fields, the farming errands and stuff... And maybe include the rest of the family in the videos more - especially in the summer!
Your videos are amazing and fun and interesting. Please keep up the amazing work! 🙏

Love it! Can't wait to see year 2!
I like seeing all the different wild life that come to the pond
Another great video in this series. I would like to mention that hummingbirds make open nests, so maybe an open platform would be more attractive to them than a closed nesting box. I love these videos, best of luck!
Love seeing the aquariums and pet fish, and wildlife shots!
Here is a name for B Baylen
This table is just awesome! A beautiful family heirloom!!🐟🐢🦆
13:42 even the turtle is getting in on the action
Nate Makes did a really great job on the table. The pond has come a long way. I started watching maybe two to three vids in to the build. Wow, incredible work on the table, Nate! ❤
I'd love to see a huge wildlife tower or wildlife blocks. They are so diverse and a lovely niche for the environment.
Epic art to go with the awesome pond. Great job evolving the channel over the years. Thx
Getting close to one million subscribers and well deserved too. You are one of the best content providers on Youube.
Bee keeping would be interesting to learn about. It would help the crops out around the farm too!
Just more of the same please. Love the new drone footage and game cams. Some really beautiful wildlife photography in this episode, so soothing to watch. Thank you all.

That table is freaking awesome!!!
Oh and so is that pond!!!! Dang son!!!
I have been watching this channel for 2+ years now. Crazy to see the progress of the land and fish!
You should start your own wildlife sanctuary!
Future ideas. The aerial views show that small fish don't have many places to hide from the aggressive bass. In a natural lake or pond there is more vegetation for the prey items to shelter. That table builder has mad skills. Blown away
Hey man love the channel!! Great job with everything. I would love to watch some deer hunting on the new land!
Agree

I would love to see more of the backyard as well!
You should go out and catch a bluegill, then put in the tank with Mr Tiger and name him Deputy.
Feels like a fun idea and would be a journey for you and to all of us
Bass name ideas 🤔🎉
Z = Zion
Y = Yacht or YOLO
X = Xenon
W = Whimsy or Wizard
V = Vortex
U = Usher or Urban
T = Tonka
Q = Queso or Queenie
U should add a few northern and a few southern bass to diverse the genetics and have a wider variety of aggression and size
Bass name ideas:
(A) Aloha.. (C) Captain.. (F) Floyd.. (K) Kayak.. (M) Mr. Miyagi.. (N) Newton.. (O) Omega.. (P) Presto.. (Q) Queenie, or Queso.. (T) Tonka.. (U) Usher, or Urban.. (V) Vixen, Vortex, or Voyage.. (W) Whimsy, or Wizard.. (X) Xenon.. (Y) Yacht, or YOLO.. (Z) Zion
I think putting a ton of those prawns in the pond will be super beneficial for the bass, such a good idea
That table is beautiful! Nate is very talented!
One of my favorite series right now
You are literally living my fantasy life! Congratulations and god bless! and that table is AMAZING!!!!!

wow a year at the Crimson Oak Pond! life's goooood!! thank you for sharing this awesome project
This series is amazing, beautiful nature series🏞🌿🐟.
I'm really loving the drone too footage of the fish! Great perspective from on top.
Wow, that table is insane!

As an avid YT viewer of numerous channels, AG1 is something one simply cannot escape. I'll never even consider the stuff.
I would love to see more about the bass. I caught a 7 pound bass in a large tank in Texas when I was a kid. I think I was about 10 years old and it’s something I will never forget. Again love your video.
