Same! hahaha He is such a welcoming and sweet person also off camera!! He literally came to us while we were filming in Washington Park and invited to play a game with him :)
Nice vid !!! I like Johnny, he is a very cool guy ! I also like how Noel went very chill with him, he "missed" tons of opportunity to make the game longer !
In my opinion, he knew. A downside of the online popularity of chess is that all the (moderately) successful UA-camrs follow the same trends to make content. It's overdone by the third video. My theory is that these boy and girl pay the gentleman to play along (ckeck out the microphone), but so many people have probably tried to fool him as newcomers to the game that he isn't really excited anymore. Play one grandmaster, it will make your year. Play ten grandmasters in a week and it will eventually be just another Tuesday. Imagine losing the thrill of not knowing your opponent's strength. The UA-camrs should just stick to playing rather than coming up with dumb trends. Cramling's video with her mom and the same gentleman from this video is where it's at. Genuine looking reactions and all that (I don't follow her stuff). Glad he's doing ok.
Wonderful display of chess by you sat 3rd oct St Johns Square london. thank you Alessia great job. I played you on the list and you let me play stonewall defence as black couldn't beleive my luck. I'd studied the line and i kept you off me for longer than you should have allowed it was a big privilige to be able to play you thank you.
HI ALLESIA I subscribed to you for the past 6 months, and your content helped me improve so much. Thanks for your efforts in making so many new lessons and helping me to improve in chess. I hope you will soon reach 2500 ELO and become a GM. Thank you for your effort. By the way, I wanted to ask you something for a long time. Could you host a meeting in the classroom feature of chessable so that we all could interact with you and clarify our questions? I hope you will do something regarding it.
Was the tactic: Nd3+ forking the king and the b pawn that is now double attacked and if Qxd3 then it deflects the queen from the defense of the b pawn for Bxb2 winning the trapped rook
@@14aartis How about don't be rude to people when you don't know what is going on, I take weekly lessons from Alessia and it was a comment to her about not seeing her this week, because we didn't have a lesson this week for the first time in months.
Johnny , a most eloquent speaker with a great philosophical out look on life . laughed so hard at his Cramling comment .

Johnny's a blast. He makes it a lot more fun.
He's not a chess hustler at all, he just plays in Washington Sq Park.
Johnny got traumatized by Pia Cramling lol
Always keep your lady folks! Solid advice from a GM!
How could he not know he's a grandmaster? Alot of youtubers pull this off all of the time.
not everyone spends their time watching this kind of content on youtube

we need this guy vs Mike
He has a better haircut and a better hairline than your boyfriend.
1:13 gramps knows that he is one of them 😂❤
"It's like a sponge brain sucking you in." "Well, that makes sense." perfect😂
8:24 is the beginning of a villain arc fr 😂😅
Even beginners know the basic principals of the game
Stockfish hated their early middle game

Brilliant video, so entertaining esp from the lady who's not for trading!
man johnny seems such a pretty goood man, he seems pretty kind :D
You have to learn to love Johnny.

Absolutely bro i also saw that
Can't you start with Bxb2, trapping the Rook in the corner. And if Qxb2 then Nd3+ winning the Queen?
4:19 Why not sacrifice the bishop for a pawn on b2 and create a fork with the knight?
becuase he was pretending to be terrible he definitely saw that
Love that guy johnny
Johnny got the charisma
I thought i was going to have to send out a search party for you guys. It feels like so long since i have seen a new video.
It's been a week... which you should be accustomed to as they've been uploading once a week for the past couple of years. Don't be weird.

Johnny is SO funny! Where does he play in NY?
Washington Park
@@Alessia_Santeramo Thanks!
2:57 Is Nb4 followed by Bxb2 the move? That’s insane
Edit: This tactic comes up again later on lol
Good man
best hustler, haha
Love that Guy.
Could her boyfriend beat all the hustlers at Washington Square
This was a silly game.
Amazing
Free bischop was terrible
Americans are so LOUD when they play chess!
May I know where this place and what country
Why are they called chess hustlers?
Why don't you just tell him he's a GM and play for real?
Lady trade 😂
No no no no 🤣
kebanyakan blunder 😩
Anybody give me free chess guidance please 🙏
play with me so I can know your weaknesses
Ok@@SuhbanIo
Did Noel play bad on purpose?
definetely Nb4 Bxb2 were visible even to a beginner lol, he didn't want to destroy him in few moves while acting as a beginner
These guys know what's up when their challenger starts recording the match 🥸
