Great video ! Concise, coherent, informative. I didn't realize just how valuable everything was. I'm fairly inexperienced in electronics but I'm teaching myself. Alot of other tutorials are mostly unwatchable, but yours was great. Ill subscribe.
Thanks! Have fun and be careful. The scrap market is back on the rise and there is plenty for everyone. Here is a video of what I have made from microwave parts in the past: ua-cam.com/video/nNKIy4XOEjc/v-deo.html
Thanks for the tips man . Im about to scrap my first one and am glad I saw your video . I didn't know about the DEA5H THANG LOL good to know lol . Thanks a bunch man . 🙏🙏🙏🇨🇦
LOL. I'm lucky, my grandmother never owned a microwave, so there was never a temptation to take it. Here is a video of what I have made from microwave parts in the past: ua-cam.com/video/nNKIy4XOEjc/v-deo.html
I sell most of my parts to local "makers" or folks who like to build odd-ball devices. I sell all the left over parts to my local scrapyard. I also reuse the parts myself sometimes (such as the small motors or timers). I also make high voltage wood burners with the transformers as well. If you search my channel you can see one that I built. Just search "high voltage" from my channel page.
I took one apart today, I had no idea about the compositor. Jesus Murphy…… now I know. Thank you…. Also thank you for the tips on reuse, The fan is a great ventilation system
And oh the things you can make with the transformer! Bwahahahahahaha! Check out our video here: My Lichtenberg Device (High Voltage Wood Burner) ua-cam.com/video/nNKIy4XOEjc/v-deo.html
thank you so much for making this video!!!, wonderful informative scrap video!, very interesting and a video exactly what I was hoping to find on UA-cam! as my microwave broke by some electrical zap inside of it? and now I want to dysect it for scrap like you did, I subscribed to you for any other informative video's you make
Very cool. Thanks for the sub! You will find a variety of truly random stuff on my channel. Just be careful with the capacitor during your scrap and you'll be just fine. Glad I could help! This is what I built with the transformer out of the microwave I scrapped: ua-cam.com/video/nNKIy4XOEjc/v-deo.html
I want to thank you for the heads up on the capacitor. I knew taking apart microwaves could be dangerous and your video let me know why. Thanks man
Glad the video was helpful. Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment.

Where would you sell those items instead of scrapping
I used to move quite a few parts on eBay. Not sure what the market is like these days.
