I want to thank you for the heads up on the capacitor. I knew taking apart microwaves could be dangerous and your video let me know why. Thanks man

Great video ! Concise, coherent, informative. I didn't realize just how valuable everything was. I'm fairly inexperienced in electronics but I'm teaching myself. Alot of other tutorials are mostly unwatchable, but yours was great. Ill subscribe.

Thanks! Have fun and be careful. The scrap market is back on the rise and there is plenty for everyone. Here is a video of what I have made from microwave parts in the past: ua-cam.com/video/nNKIy4XOEjc/v-deo.html

I like this. I hope my gramma doesn't notice that her microwave is missing....

LOL. I'm lucky, my grandmother never owned a microwave, so there was never a temptation to take it. Here is a video of what I have made from microwave parts in the past: ua-cam.com/video/nNKIy4XOEjc/v-deo.html

I sell most of my parts to local "makers" or folks who like to build odd-ball devices. I sell all the left over parts to my local scrapyard. I also reuse the parts myself sometimes (such as the small motors or timers). I also make high voltage wood burners with the transformers as well. If you search my channel you can see one that I built. Just search "high voltage" from my channel page.

I took one apart today, I had no idea about the compositor. Jesus Murphy…… now I know. Thank you…. Also thank you for the tips on reuse, The fan is a great ventilation system

Where would you sell those items instead of scrapping

I used to move quite a few parts on eBay. Not sure what the market is like these days.

Very cool. Thanks for the sub! You will find a variety of truly random stuff on my channel. Just be careful with the capacitor during your scrap and you'll be just fine. Glad I could help!
