My favorite metallica song
Hey look, it's the TRUE best Metallica album.
*skips to fight fire with fire solo*
Update: the solo ruled
Definitely, the harmony part was really good
Fight fire with fire is such a great and underrated song. It’s one of those songs that needs a little more love
sounds like something you'd hear in final fantasy 7 or 8
@@RadicalRocker I'd say a bit overrated, just about everyone talks about it
Fade To Black was A MASTERPIECE
No doubt man wow
Yes indeed...the whole song of melodies & rhythms are greatest ever
*is
I’m not using is in this situation, I’m saying the Mario version was a masterpiece, while the original version is a masterpiece
Call of kthulu
I wanna play Mario bros with all these metallica covers so bad now.

Doing the lord's work on every vid
I like trapped under vanilla lake.
Sounds cooler
Get it
37:57 Call of Koopa
The album art goes hard in full sincerity. Would buy a shirt with that on it
Finally a cover that does justice to the drumming in the album! Amazing work
Ha I like the painkiller profile, awesome album also I agree
What's wrong with the drumming in RTL?
@@Iwanttoblowmybrainsoutrn Not in the original recording, but in other SM64 covers of this album the drums are very simple
This is the only video like this I hear that snags every drum beat, hits every guitar rift just right, and gets the base line right matching the original scores every time. Amazing, especially on how technical these guitar solos are. Very impressive. I really enjoyed the "And Justice for All" remake. It's a great way to hear these songs, because you get to really hear how varying the guitar parts really are and how complex the harmonies are, which can sometimes get lost. It really makes me appreciate the original masters of the madness that is Metallica that much more. And I hear Cliff so much in these songs. As good as Metallica is, even today, they'd be miles ahead had Cliff not died. His grasp of symphonic harmonies were priceless.
Ride the lightning goes HARD
Man, I could use this to finally learn the record accurate bass line for Call of Ktulu! And Fade to Black sounds like a Zelda song lol
Fade of the Wild
The Call of Cthulhu intro is sick!
That solo on Fade to Black was perfect
YESSS ONE OF MY FAVS ! I aboslutely love how fight fire w fire and fade to black and trapped under ice was done ! it all sounds so great and sounds like im relistening to the albums for the first time again its so exciting and fun to hear how all these covers are done, and that goes for any of these soundfont covers, but these metallica ones are especially my favorite
thank you so muuuuuch! These Metallica vids in particular have given me a lot of room to experiment with other stuff like sampling and fades and whatnot, bells and ktulu in particular were fun cos of all the bass arrangements
i feel the black album, reload, or load (my number 1 fav) would be fun to experiment around with as well given all the random and unique instruments and samples and sounds used in certain songs and would give alot of room to see how you can impliment the soundfonts into the songs (hurdy gurdy, violin, vibraslap, electric keyboard, cello, organ, talkbox, orchestra, sitar, random percussion instruments, shotgun, etc.)
overall i love how this is done and especially the solo in fight fire with fire, those two are always fun to listen to with their sperate moods and energy they have
@@rouxleed oh i'd LOVE to do load/reload they're probably the most underrated metallica albums IMO and the way they're mixed would be super fun to doodle with!
@@mawinswag YES SOMEONE AGREES
i absolutely L O V E the load and reload albums
id love to see you do them in the forseeable future, but so far im loving everything youre putting out, it gives me allot of motivation to try this out and put out my own soundfont covers of albums i love
i mainly see alot of grunge and albums from the 90s being covered, but not really alt metal/nu metal/post-grunge being covered which are my favorite genres of the metal
@@rouxleed oooh truth i'd love to see a full cover of angel dust by faith no more or ocean machine by devin townsend those albums rockkkkkkk
My Favorite metallica album! Can't believe how good it sounds with this. Good job!
this is seriously the best metallica has ever sounded
The Call Of Ktulu is amazing!
This channel and its work are incredible. My hat is off to you good sir!
Def in love with this one
I’ve heard this done in the sm64 soundfront already , this sounds quite a bit cleaner and there’s a little less chaos going on.
Ah man I don't usually listen to these mario 64 covers for very long, but this is the best one I've heard so far. Very high accuracy to the source material and excellent job with the instrumentation
this is the best one of these M64 soundfont videos I've seen yet.
The main title RIDE THE LIGHTNING drum kicks damn fast
Sounds awesome !!
Can't tell you how many times I've said, "uh, so good" or "so faithful to Cliff!" "yep that's what it sounded like on the album" on my stream. And this is only the 2nd time through the album. LUL wut?
Omg brilliant master class work
this was something I didn't know I needed in my life till now!
gran trabajo... muy muy bueno 👌
Beast
Ok who else went straight to Call Of Cthulhu
Yup!
I saved it for my very last listen after watching most of his videos just because I knew it was going to be Epic.
you are a god amongst men
legit
Call of Kthulhu sounds more like a James bond movie than a Lovecraft cosmic horror. xD jajajaj 😂❤
Awesome hahaha
Bro finally the call of ktulu sounds better than the other sm64 fonts people made
Call of Ktulu = Mario Vs. Bowser: Ultimate Apocalypse, or THE DANKEST UNDERGROUND LEVEL THEME EVER 🤘
These Metallica albums in that soundfont sound so much as if they were meant to be boss music in Chrono Trigger lol
Shows just how 8 bit Lars is. He could have been a Commodore 64 at this time....
