      How much I would be honored to adorn myself with such a wonderful creation by such a beautiful lady! Sadly, this will escape me, a man of modest means! How gracious she is in her interview on the other video! And, to honor her father with such creations! Magnificent!

    I love all of Dusita perfumes, you can sense the high quality of the ingredients she used to create this wonders. The only one I'm still struggling, although I appreciate the art of it, is Oudh Infini. Thank you for sharing with us!

      It is challenging, I wouldn't personally wear that one myself.. Despite if it's one you would enjoy yourself, I think it would be one that would get you a few funny looks from people around you

    Thanks for another excellent review Peter! I'm new to "real" oud, Eagle Wood (House of Matriarch) was my first, and its oh, so nice! I'll have to order a sample of Oud Infini and see how it measures up!

    • @FragranceView
      @FragranceView  7 років тому +1

      The Oud its self in this is not too bad in my opinion... it's just the Civet in the opening that will put some people off, it's pretty skanky

  • @FragranceView
    @FragranceView  7 років тому +6

    PRICES ARE FOR OUDH INFINI
    Others in the collection list from €295 / £255 / $315
    Oudh Infini is the most expensive from the collection, due to the amount of natural Oud in the fragrance.

    • @parfumsdusita
      @parfumsdusita 6 років тому

      thank you so much sir :) yes, it is the natural oudh, Rose de Mai, and also Orange Flower Blossom from Tunisia. Pissara is crazy about natural ingredients.

    _Very nice overview_
    *Peter*
    _Always Thank You_
    I love Issara.
    I think there's a clary sage in it.
    Oudh Infini , to me, isn't a harsh oud.
    It is there in the opening , but like you said,
    it starts to mellow . It is very much an oud,
    but is , to me , the best rose oud out there.
    In the latter stages, the rose seems to
    develop into soft petals .I can almost
    feel them.
    I haven't sampled any of Pissara's other's
    yet, but I will be getting samples in the mail.
    I didn't have to pay for shipping nor taxes
    when I ordered them.
    That's pretty cool.
    Looking for your full reviews Pete.

    Peter, it’s funny, I have been trying to do some research on Dusita and voilà, I see your review! I read your comments about rose and with your calculations, I see what you mean, those limits are bizarre to say the least! As you said, I bet Kazami is at least 100 times the limit. I just checked and Luckyscent in the US has three (non La Douceur De Siam) of the four so I think I’m going to check them out. Thanks for the review and take care!

    • @FragranceView
      @FragranceView  7 років тому +1

      Many perfumes made in the US are completely illegal in the EU, it's sad....
      Many perfumes created over here, obviously have to use a small amount of natural rose, the rest is artificial rose made by chemists, that remove the "dangerous" elements so you can use 20% of the fake rose, I think she chose not to use the artificial here, which is why it feels muted behind the Oud and doesn't start to come out more until the Oud tones down

    Thanks Peter for trying them. T habanaro, Ambre, and the Rose Ishtar were my favorite. The Cuir leather was really bad. To me the Rose smells realistic to me and I gave it a lady friend and she loves it and got a lot of compliments. No headache here, thanks though.

    I love your fragrance reviews.
    Also you are thoughtful even with the music you choose for them.
    Beautiful piano here!
    These perfumes sound elegant and special esp la Douceur di siam
    Too highly priced for me at least currently going through the covid madness of less income.
    No pity, we're all struggling together!
    I will sample a few through lucky scent and also then top up my Centauri samples. I love Proxima for summer!
    Thanks Peter! Beautiful soul! 💚🦄

    Your not being mean it's all good my friend. I don't really normally like vanilla and rose frangrances, however the Rose in rose Ishtar smelled extremely real and pretty to me, it wowed me a little. On a woman it smelled really good. Vanilla has to be blended well with something that so it doesn't smell like just vanilla, like a candle, it needs some spices and something to give it a unique smell. I love white chocolate and I couldn't find it in Coco Blanc, a bit disappointed. Your videos are creative and unique and your opinions are honest and I think you have great nose for frangrances. The music is fantastic as well, never disappointed.

      I got the samples today... the rose one gives me a headache! the lavender one I don't like the opening, it's quite harsh.. it seems to fizzle into nothing.. the Ambre Loup is just organic vanilla absolute and not much else, the Cuir leather one is quite bad, smells a bit un wearable, strong castoreum leather and kind of a burnt plastic smell with a strong orris / violet opening... all a bit weird to me!! Not sure If I can review these!

    Lovely descriptions, Peter. love the concept,,, the poetry.
    I looked into the samples but $70 US Dollars is a bit steep, at the moment. darn.
    (luckyscent only has 3 of the Line: I'll try a couple, soon enough.)
    I always felt unusual in the fragrance community as I really do appreciate a beautiful, white floral. Perhaps a generalization, but so few appear to love that particular category.
    Also love herbals. Issara sounds beautiful.
    La Douceur de Siam ~ carnation & sandalwood? ... two of my favorite notes.

    • @FragranceView
      @FragranceView  7 років тому

      I think they have samples on LuckyScent cheaper, you can buy them individually there.. instead of the set, for $8. each - I like white floral too, I've smelled quite a few heavy Tuberose scents though, I feel like it's a little hard to do something very unique with it, it's such a powerful note on it's own.
      Mysore Sandalwood I would say is my favourite note, I have a little pure oil, it's like cream it's so smooth.

    • @hollybronwyn8176
      @hollybronwyn8176 7 років тому +1

      yep, same, Mysore Sandalwood is undeniably one of thee most gorgeous aromas nature ever offered to us.
      One sweet-smelling element may top it ... redwood trees on an 80º afternoon in Northern California.
      absolute heaven. and they've never captured the smell of those magnificent trees, to my knowledge.
      I still have a full bottle of the original ('70s) Crabtree & Evelyn Mysore Sandalwood & the extrait. very, very fine.

    Great review! My wife has the Melodie one. Love how pretty it smells on her, and you definitely described it very well. Except I strongly disagree with you about it being unisex. This is for a woman imo, not only a woman but a woman's woman. I wouldn't be caught dead wearing this, but that's just me.

    • @FragranceView
      @FragranceView  7 років тому

      I said at the end it leans more feminine, some dudes don't really care if something smells feminine, I have to kind of balance my opinion to not be too strict on it.. each to their own, right?

    My problem with Oudh Infini isn't the oud or the civet, which are fine, as I love animalic notes and fragrances (my favourite fragrance is Ambilux by Marlou, which I'd love to see on your channel for a review). It's the orange blossom. It's too pungent in the beginning. Issara is nice, but a bit weak. Erawan is beautiful.

    Peter, in Oud Infini, what do you mean by the scent smelling dirty? Another question, which perfume is the most expensive that can be acquired? And do you know what notes it has. Just curious..thank you for what you do..you're very professional and direct in explaining. I'm yet to learn very much :)

    • @FragranceView
      @FragranceView  6 років тому

      Imagine the smell of cow poop in a farm field, mixed with the smell of rotten hard Italian Cheeses.... that kind of dirty. - most expensive perfume? I am not sure, when it's over a certain amount it isn't worth it at all. You're just paying for the sake of them making a point, rather than the quality of the perfume..
      you can pay £2,500. for one bottle of Roja, but it has Gold Leaf inside, uses notes of Orris, Jasmine, Rose, Oakmoss, Ginger, Cinnamon, Benzoin, Ylang Ylang, Patchouli, Vanilla, Clove, Cedar - I am sure there's much more expensive than that though...
