I stopped listening to music totally in August 22. I cAnt stand the sound of music and songs... but when I’m out or at work without thinking I find myself sometimes tapping my finger along to a song and have to stop myself. It didn’t happen for the first 6 months and then slowly slowly started creeping in.
Alhamdulillah :) Great work Ali. Do not worry if you happen to hear music in public, It is not sinful. I do not have any need to listen to music. I recently realised the lyrics and instruments are pointless. I found alternatives such as watching youtube videos with commentary when going on a walk or taking transportation.
@@FizzyS0da I’ve actually replaced music with Surahs in the car and when I’m going places now.its amazing how quickly and easily you begin to dislike music

Everyone who says that music is not haraam is a slave to their own desires
@lee_9837 With that logic, magic is also not haraam because Allah created it, correct? Asking help from the jinns is also not haraam, correct? Because the jinns can be used for good and magic can also be used for good. This is why i said people are a slave to their own desires. This is a lengthy topic but you need you shouldn't find an excuse or loopholes when the general consensus is that Music is Haraam, and Allah knows best.
@lee_9837 you're walking a very fine line of disbelief, my friend, there is a reason there are certain things such as magic, music food etc irregardless of whether it is used for good or bad that has been made haraam for us. It is better to speak to a local scholar than come up with your own interpretations.

(SubhanAllah) every material got millions and billions of sound depending on place,time,situation, environment and alot of other things. We musicians feel happy just by capturing it or recording it. As human we just discover what Allah created. Think about the Details in his creation and the art of his creations. ❤

Brothers and sisters watch researchers about music it’s so powerful that it interacts with your DNA effecting how you feel and all. That’s why shaitan can easily manipulate it and use it against you to stray from your ibada.

I'm also the same I don't know why? I practise my religion well Alhamdulillah but in my time table I kept listening to music and singing so that it helps me not to forget my Arabic and when I use music for dancing is because of helping my body be flexible. Which I'm supposed to do lot's of exercises like Yoga and dancing to help with my infertility. May Allah forgive me. My intentions with music is not bad but I don't know how Allah will judge me😒
@@artisthusnatalal3099It says in the Zavur that King Davud (a.s.) would praise Allah with timbrel and harp. In other words he would make beautiful music in worship of the Lord. God loves music made to Him. This idea that music is evil from Shaitan is nonsense.

@ebonymaw8457 ONLY musical instrument are haram and the prophet Dawod (as) he did not sing music astagfirullah he used to recite the Zabur a book revealed to him from Allah he used to recite it in a melodious way that is subsequently different from what you said.
then according to your logic the Zabour is music? That is the real nonesens may Allah make it easy for you to leave the habit, but don't say that is not haram because that will be a lie. Pls go and look there are so many hadiths of the prophet sws so many proofs is just obvious,before doing something ask yourself a question (is this going to strengthen my relationship with Allah or not, will this please allah and make me enter jannah or not?) music is a waste of time brother focus in salah and in dhikr how many dihkr and raka't you could have been able to do in the time that you WASTE listening that "music" music will NOT help you enter jannah.

Music takes your focus off of God. I play several instruments, & when I play them, my focus is on the music, not on God. Whatever distracts you from God, to that degree it is evil.
Dear Ummah Dividers, the top seat holders stop blaming music and laziness of today muslims in field of progress , Music could have been used to counter Satanic and Shirk Music Industry ,and Glorify our Religion by making good and peaceful songs. If Music is haram then Talking ,Looking,Thinking is haram too by your logics. If u think,look,talk DIRty and bad its haram ,but blaming Music altogether is nonsense, Allah (S.A.W.) if thought it to be serious he would have made a single verse for it to our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
So unite Ummah and stop lies and wishful laws in religion. And make young muslims understand Salah's importance and not views and clickbaits. Heard about soft power, Music is that ,use it atleast ,i know we are weak in power today, but use what you have.

Assalamu aleikum. Can somebody please explain to me, who were the people on the other side? I understand that Adam and his family had way longer lofespans than us, but Mufti Menk mentions "He took his family, his children etc." So who are the people on the other side ? Children of the children of Adam? My reason tells me that these are ofc descendant of Adam. However the way Mufti describes it makes it sound like it is a separate "tribe". I am sorry if I sound ignorant but i would love to have this clarified with reference if possible .❤
The people on the other side are Qabil, his wife, his children and all his descendants. I can't give you a precise reference, but if you've seen all the videos in the prophet series, it is explained that after Cain kills Abel, he goes to the valleys or beyond, while Adam and all the rest of his family remain living in the mountains, and that is how they continued, and that is why in this video it is said that Sheeth's children came down to see what was happening on the other side.
By the way, the way Mufti mentions it, as if they were another tribe, is because there was this separation between Qabil and his family, and as Mufti explains it in this video, one of the prohibitions that was revealed to Sheeth ( AS) was that they could not mix with Qabil and his offspring.

Not a single verse about Music ,also Hadith about it are non-contextually shown, By your logic,
- Walking is Haram, wether towards Club or Masjid.
- Researching is Haram, wether about Alcohol or Zamzam.
- Banking is Haram, wether Interest or No-Interest.
\Music can make weak Youngsters motivate or have a happier response towards Religion and Send Prayers and Compliments to Prophets and great Personalities.
\Have a stronger emotional relation with Allah and avoid eating Devil's fruit of Haram Music(u all know what i mean).
