thats a good hobby working on watches. I started watching pocket watch repair videos on UA-cam.I picked Elgin pocket watch brand. I looked for non working Elgin movements and learned how to disassemble and clean the movement and figure out why it stopped .I have around 30 working Elgin pocket watches some very old . I buy them on eBay and after a while i was able to figure out why they stopped just by reading the description on the watch why it failed .
i had one i got from big lots but i remember liking it for some reason. watches seem kind of expensive for even a cheap timex or casio or im just that cheap . but still i remember finding a cheap timex for $13 now their like $40 tried a cheap george and the digital kept time but the crown would come out on its own. the worst part is the clip for the strap would grab the back of my head when i reach behind my head, . thats super irritating .
I got a nearly identical to the golden one, just a slightly different face, without any "brand" and with the 3 and the 9 instead of the others on the side. Also one similar in design, but a thicker bezel in silver and silicone band named Bollfendo with the back and a tag like it was made in my country. Compared to my old bulky copy "Tecnicos"(didn't find which model), they are a shame. Got them just for fun and return to use watches.
I have my main $250 watch that I wear. But for collection wise should I get these for free on temu just for looks/style, or should I keep to my retail watches at kohls?
If you’re looking for cheap but decent quality there are many on temu that are $50 and up. I reviewed 2 others one made by lige that are good quality for $30
I never wear a watch. Ever, BUT I’d like to buy one just to wear with my new skinny suit. Are there any of these temu watches that would be sufficient for my use? I’d buy a fake Rolex if I could. Are these temu watches made SO cheap that they couldn’t pass as a quality watch?
If you want it as a casual ware and want to buy from temu make sure its about 5 dollars and that you like it but if you want an actual usable watch and something for a proper event i would recommend an official brand but a cheaper moder (40-80$)
Half were fine. Appeared to be quartz miyota copies. The blue folex and Richard Mille knock offs seemed to have internal movement issues and did not keep time at all and ended up quitting completely
Yeah some of these are really bad with the fake sub dials and pushers like yours and then I see people trying to sell them on Fb Marketplace for like $15 -25
For these prices, no one could expect a miracle. Still, from a distance. Well the all gold model kind of looks impressive lol. Besides, where else in the world could they afford to make this kind of crap for so little? Many thanks.

Looks like something that somebody on side of road would try to sell at a huge markup. I wouldn’t expect high quality of anything from that site
