Thank you do much my friend! Canada day AND my daughter's birthday today :) we had a good day. I had a show at a Canada day event so we all went together as a family it was a good day.
Another excellent review. For me, the Viper Wallet, which uses a similar method to the Alias Wallet, is superior. The Alias Wallet has two flaws: the too-small window and the tendency to "talk." You can solve the problems by cutting down your business cards to fit and careful, directed practice to eliminate the noise. But you don't need to do any of this with the Viper. I would rather go with that wallet. It's the most deceptive, examinable peek wallet I've seen.
Thanks so much my friend! I do like the Viper, I should do a review on that one as well even though it's older now. Eventually I want to review all of my wallets. I do agree this one has the tendency to talk.. as it did in the review even. I've been working on finger placement to eliminate that but it takes some practice for sure. I also agree with you that window is small.. took me a long time to cut down something that fit it well.. would be nice is it were bigger. I think the reason for the smaller window was likely because the gimmick isn't flexible and the bigger they window is, the more fragile the gimmick becomes. I do like the clarity of it though and I don't think a lay person would ever discover the secret on this one.
@@ChrisEdwardsMagic I think Colin even mentioned in the instructions that the small window was necessitated by the design of the method. I agree with you that it's highly unlikely a lay person could figure out how it works. I know I couldn't when I took it out of the box. :) If you want a much cheaper DIY version of the Viper/Alias, I highly recommend Mark Stone's SpyCat Wallet PDF. All you need is a the right $(USD) 11 wallet, a few other things, and about half an hour of careful work. The finished product is just as deceptive as a Viper or Alias, though it's not examinable. I made one, and I think that it's so much better than the overrated Orphic. Stone also has a supplemental PDF explaining how to make a commercial peek wallet like the Jaks wallet more deceptive. It, too, is outstanding.
Great review. Very thorough. I think that it's important that you mention that you can't sit on it. If you did, I guess you would get 7 years of bad luck.
I like the Viper, and while similar I dont feel they are exactly the same. I feel like youncan be more open with the Alias wallet with you participant and surrounding audience but the Viper offers more features and storage while still remaining thin. Larger peek too but not as clear. Just my thoughts. I have them both and like them both.
Hey Chris, i like them both. I have been pinged a few times using alias, probably my handling. The Viper has worked better for me and i like the folded card feature.
Hi Chris - 1st: a fabulous review! 2nd: It's Canada Day 🇨🇦 Salutations & stay safe out there, mate! Love the opening graphics - superior indeed!

Thanks man I've heard good things about that and I keep meaning to check it out myself!
Yeah the Viper is awesome. Not many reviews out for it, just a couple I think.

Hahaha 😅 yes that's precisely it! And thank you again my friend, as always 😀

Yeah for sure the Viper is more versatile and the peek doesn't speak lol. Alias wallet is loud but it can be corrected with practice.
