How have i come across this kind of content.... was literally watching chess 🤣🤣
Because i was playing chess with your YT algo
What's the difference between the Odyssey 1000 and the Destiny 1000?
Main difference is speed, Destiny is faster
What smarter to do connect the garage with the car that has has the right mirrors for it or the remote for it
Both! These openers can connect to your cars buttons, and the remotes!
THIS VIDEO IS SO COOL!
You're telling me!
Why upsell a new engine when there was only a stripped hook that couldve most likely been refurbed unless the customer spesifically wanted one, tho i dont see why as the new engine is just as slow so theres literally no purpose for replacement
Because the old opener was as loud as a train horn, and they wanted to stay asleep when someone comes home at night
@@tcgaragedoor i guess thats fair tho i wwouldve ssstill goone with the refurb and remachining a new bolt to match the whole liine wwith minimal slack and lubed it up ddecently given if it only needed relubee every few months but iif it dried up too fast given the bulk weight of the dooor then best hope is that the new line lasts longer
cause theres no guarantee that the trainline will operate for too long before it needs lube again so it sounds like a open flaw that hasnt been designed to be a closed pivot system
Low tapered fade 😭
Dude i got a sick fade its not my fault!
I like the genie screwdrives. Easy to repair ushally just the carriage is just stripped.
They wanted a new opener when talking, they thought it was way to loud, and had a bedroom above
Nice work. How many year’s experience do you have?
i’m at about 4ish, mostly in commercial
Great Video! Has anyone ever had a garage door opener open but won’t close right after opening? If we wait like an hour then try closing it will, just not right after opening! It’s an old craftsman. Thanks and thanks again for the video!!
Thats really strange, is it every single time, or just every so often! Also thank you for watching the video, i spent alot of time on it and i love to see you giving your support, means more than you think! I can try and help you understand your garage door problem with some extra info! Any lights blinking after it doesnt go down when you press the button (if so, how many times). If you hold the garage door wall button, does the door go down all the way.
@@tcgaragedoor thanks for the quick response! It does happen every time. No lights blinking. It is opening and closing all the way when it wants to work. It just doesn’t want to respond right after it opens or a closes. Almost like it needs a cool down period, you know? I thought it may have something to do with a new dash cam but ruled that out. It responds the same whether you use the car clicker or the wired wall mount
@@BigJilm2 Hm, issue sounds very strange. 2 things come to mind - Maybe something is wrong with the logic board of your opener, meaning it isnt communicating correctly with the motor, or your force settings may be too low. 2 things i would do to test if something is wrong, reset your limits to make sure that is correct, and increase the force setting on your opener just a hair to see if that helps, if not, put the force back to where it was.
@@tcgaragedoor Well that did! Just had to tweak the force controls and now it’s working perfectly! Thanks for the advice! I realized I said the wired wall unit button wasn’t working but that wasn’t true. It was working just not the clicker. So for the past 4 months I’ve been pulling the car out, getting out of my car walking back into the garage closing my garage door, using the wall unit, then walking out the wife’s garage door and using her extra clicker to close up the house. Thanks again!
@@BigJilm2 awesome! Im very glad i could help you out! :)
Those 140v genie operators are fantastic!!!!!!!
Tell me about it! This thing sounds amazing and we havent had a single problem with them yet
@@tcgaragedoor and the commercial ops are amazing. Zero issues, unlike Chamberlain group.
@@gsxr600rafii We only use OHD for openers! everything is just super simple
Anything Genie is just terrible.
@@diesal_one I would love to know how you got to this conclusion considering the fact that they check all boxes, and proven to be more reliable then liftmaster
Great video!!
Thanks!
My aunt has the same opener
Thats awesome! its one of my favorites
@@tcgaragedoorshe have the remote with the rubber buttons that they normally have
@@jeremywilliams4493 Yeah that was the older model, that one in the video is the new model!
