Yes, definitely not for everyone. For us is just super cool to connect with different people and to learn new things. This has been one of our favorite travel experiences ❤️
Glad you guys had a feel of our countryside. Mountain tea is popular in our country. It is an ancient herb. Now it's been brought and sold in US too. We drink that when we get flu, cold etc. You can sweeten it with honey, squeeze a bit of lemon and add a shot of raki haha. Milking the cows priceless haha. Our honey is truly exceptional especially if the bees have been in high mountain areas filled with wild flowers and you've got to taste it when it's fresh extracted from the frame.
OMG we did all of that and it's true! The mountain tea is amazing. The family who owns the farm picked up some and gave us to take with us and we had it with fresh honey and lime (didn't even think to add raki! that's for next time haha) And when we went back to the farm a week later, we got to try the honey directly from the frame and it was mind blowing! So crqzy how things taste so different when they are truly fresh 😍
@@albusha5150 Yes, and you can really taste. We had incredible meals where everything even the bread was made from scratch using all local ingredients and it was soooo good. It must be hard for Albanians to leave and not have access to food like that... we for sure miss those salads!!!!!

It was really incredible to witness how they live and to be a part of it too. They are the true example of what Albanian hospitality is like. HAHAHA the wallet thing is one for the books 😂 I think both of us trying to milk a cow was definitely one of the highlights for us. It was too funny (but we didn't get all of it on camera because our hands were dirty) 🙈
Cityfied! That's a great word. We were like that when we lived in Chicago. We for sure prefer smaller towns, maybe not a farm to live in, but there's something special about being surrounded by nature. But this whole experience was very special to us. Hope you get de-cityfied soon!! :)
