I love your two female black and silver axanthics, and this video (of all the hundreds of Ball python videos from different well- known breeders I've seen) comes the closest to what my first project would be based on! I love the Stormtrooper, I also love the pied snakes, also the desert ghost influences. You have named the same genes that I have been the most interested in. I recently saw an axanthic cinnamon that I thought was really striking. However, I know that most of these genes are recessive and would require much more time. As I don't have even one ball python yet, I get great satisfaction, as well as much appreciated knowledge in watching you big guys do it, and seeing such beautiful snakes produced. Until I have a much firmer understanding of the genetics involved in these snakes, I think that I will satisfy myself with watching you. What you come up with down the road on this project will be of great interest to me, please keep posting on this as much as is possible! Thank you!

Sometimes we experiment to see what works and what doesn't. You never know til you try. That's an old video. I use music a little more strategically nowadays

I think mother pin (the first snake in the video) is just a very unique expression of pinstripe. The pin hatchings from her have similar pinstriping to their mother.

Oh, Thank you very much Sir for the encouragement! As a great student of animal genetics, namely Thoroughbred Race Horses and German Shepherds, I saw a few videos on Ball pythons and their genes on color and patterns, and that was all it took, I'm hooked! Would the best way to get an optimal start be to save up for awhile and buy possibly one or two powerhouse females, as in four to seven genes, or the most I can afford, or should I keep educating myself until I feel like I can personally take some basic two gene or so snakes and produce what I am after? Considering what my longterm goals are? ( STORMTROOPER).
BLACK, SILVER, and WHITE COMBINATION PIEDS. I want clean lines and snakes that won't fade away as they age! Time would be an important issue as I'm an older person and all of the recessive genes involved will increase that. I would really appreciate your insight on this. Also, do you have any updates on your progress on your own axanthic project? Maybe YOU have already produced the animals that I am looking for!
      Best Wishes

She is very head shy. More handling as a hatchling could have prevented that. My hatchling girl went from head shy to not in just a week with daily handling (aside from after feeding).

The busy pattern one takes after the mom. I got 2 lemonblast and 1 pastel with the busy pattern out of 8 eggs. It's close to 50%.
