He assumed DC would fall into digging himself into holes on controversial subjects and DC gave him nothing to work with, by being strategic in his responses while also embarrassing Jesse for trying to set him up in that way. Hmm. I really think it was to get younger viewers to tune in to the show. Ofcourse DC didn’t answer the questions with well thought out responses , he couldn’t. DC is Funny, NO DOUBT ABOUT. But, Jesse knew what he was doing. Most host, know who is coming on there show, so they can prepare for them. Dc, was actually uncomfortable, I was studying his body language. Moving from side to side, crossing legs, uncrossing them, putting glasses on , taking glasses off , slandering before answering questions because it was Buffer to think without making it look like it. i know a uncomfortable person when I see one , joking is his talent but in this interview it indeed was a coping mechanism

A perfect example is their stance on religion. DC is a christian but he ACCEPTS muslims because even though theyre different and he doesnt understand them he also realises that we all were just put on this earth and no one knows anything for certain. Jesse on the other hand acts like hes better than muslims and mocks them and says christianity is 'better'.
Until you can understand the point DC is trying to make (in his own way which is basically a form of comedic satire) you will never truly be happy
