I had a 97 Grand Marquis but with the leather seats option... looked and felt nicer than a Lincoln. But the steering and the handling sucked, power was lacking and the plastic intake manifold was garbage and a fortune to replace. In Canada Ford charges three times as much for parts as the US. It was just not as reliable as it's reputation suggested so I ditched it. My next car, a 2002 Lexus ES was a vastly better car and far more durable... no plastic manifold either.
