- Richard McDougall (1963 ~ )
2nd Prize Comedy Magic, FISM 1997
Richard McDougall grew up in Richmond, Surrey, and studied in Warwick. When he was six years old, he received a magic box in which he was particularly taken with the ball vase. Four years later, he met Noel Britton, who attended the same school, with whom he continued to exchange ideas about magic. Eventually, he also got to know Davenport's magic shop.
At the age of 22, McDougall performed at the restaurant "Magic Moments" in London.
McDougall frequently appeared before public figures such as Paul Getty and Sir Paul McCartney.
In 1997 he took part in the FISM World Congress 1997 in Dresden with a performance from the field of Comedy Magic and won a 2nd prize in this category. In his performance, he played a person who tries to light a cigarette, but it keeps disappearing. McDougall also became known for his (artificial) goose.
