What's the difference between what is legal cannabis vs illegal cannabis and which cannabis shops are legal vs shops that are illegal? Genuine question.
Legal dispensaries have state licenses in place, have regulated hours and charge state tax. Illegal weed stores do not have a proper state license or “have applied for one” and are just straight hustling. Opportunists recognized a weak government and police force that was not paying attention and doing little to enforce regulations. Shops popped up like weeds. It’s a game. A race against the clock. How much money can you make before the law catches up with you? Looks like the latest wave of crackdowns, seizures, fines and raids is doing a dent to those operating in the grey zone.
The state wanted its cut from the taxes if you don't pay those taxes they will raid your ass like this.

Had a former friend turn into a monster when he started going broke because no one wanted to give him money no more because that shit turned him aggressive into a massive bully and a monster to get his weed.
