I've got one. It's solid as a rock, especially with the tubeless tires. Tiagra 10s is awesome. My issue is the weight of the bike and also I find it has high rolling friction in the front fork.
anyone can tell giant contend sl1 disc 2018 model tyre clearance? Anyone tried bikepacking trip on this bike? i am planning to install panaracer gravel king 700*28c along with a ortlieb 11L Saddle bag, 4 L Frame bag and 4L handle bar bag for a 7 day trip? Also not sure if carbon seatpost can take the saddle pack
Because it's disc brakes the 28mm shouldn't be an issue with clearance, but don't have the bike to confirm. Often times local bike shops will have old tires laying around to give away. You could grab an old 28mm and try it yourself. I'd check directly with the manufacturer about the seatpost.
pwrshots honestly I like the colour scheme. This is $1950 where I live but found a store selling used one for $1200. Pretty worth it and probably will pick it up
I don't mind the color. It's the awful brake thing on the handlebar I don't like. Just saw one new for a little over $1000. For that price I can live with the color and swap out the brakes...
Derek Wildash honestly kinda like it. No other bike with this colour scheme. I think they are trying to go with something new then the classic black with red or other colours

Interesting. I haven't heard anyone comment about the front fork. Did you have your local bike shop take a look as to why it might be doing that?

One of the worst color designs ever.
Not a fan?
@@HeWhoRides Fan of Giant, and I like this bike apart from the shitty colors.
@@derekwildash2683 yeah, maybe not their best effort.
