How do you figure? Highlighting the inner corner and wearing mascara is nearly universally attractive...
If anything it would be trickiest on people with eyes like hers because they're quite small for her face

i know because i dont have the same eyes at all and mascara isnt enough to make my eyes look that pretty, like she looks like she is having full face make up with just a tad of mascara because she has that type of eye. with just mascara it looks like she has some eyeliner, doesnt work for me, i always need eyeliner

It doesn't look like she is wearing eyeliner; there is a very noticeable difference. And of course your eyes will never be "pretty like hers" they will be pretty like YOURS. Even if you copied a different look exactly, you would never look like her, you'd always look like you. And that's totally ok.
She /is/ wearing a full face of makeup otherwise. Foundation, powder, blush, brows, etc. No one would look at this look and think she is wearing makeup that she isn't, like colored eyeshadow or liquid liner.
Makeup looks may not work the same on everyone, but something that looks amazing on you might look shit on her. It goes both ways. This is just a base tutorial, and you should always recreate it with what looks good on you/what you prefer. Don't lament that you don't look pretty like someone else. How boring is it to be a copy, anyway? :)

I have the same problem with foundations always being too pink 😭
I have the same problem but everything is far too dark and far too pale! High end brands haven't been able to match me in the past the only foundation that does match ok is true match
I have the same problem! I've found the perfect balance by mixing two different foundations but that being said, it's a huge pain buying two at a time.
Try Maybelline bb cream! After I started using it I honestly cannot go back to any foundation because they all make me look orange/yellow and then they disappear from my face within couple of hours! I really do love it but it does smudge if you're somewhere very hot or wearing it all day :( such a shame because it makes my eyelashes look the nicest of all my other mascaras
I wonder how everyone one of her boyfriend has reacted to her natural skin lol. Not because it's bad or anything, but because of the crazy tan difference, it's a real shocker, lol.

I'm so lazy with my makeup and I just cannot be bothered to go out and buy and eyebrow pencil so I literally just use my brown eyeshadow to match my hair and a clean mascara wand to brush the hairs with😂 please tell me someone else does something like this

Does anyone here know a good product to mask oiliness?! I've tried blotting, and I've tried the Rimmel Stay Matte powder which my oil breaks through in minutes! I have super oily skin, combined with being a teenager in the hot Cali sun... any hope out there? ):
Try using a toner:) I suggest clean&clear oil controlling products
I also have extremely oily skin. I always wash my face with dial antibacterial soap ( the gold soap bar) right before I apply my foundation( which is the Mary Kay foundation) for oily or combination skin. Then I put a little powder(any kind) over top. This keeps my face dry as a bone all day! Hope this helps.. Ps: I work long hours in hot weather!
This is going to sound weird, but try using Milk of Magnesia! I've been using it daily for a couple of months now and it REALLY helps! I bought a little 2oz travel spray bottle that I pour the milk of magnesia into, and then I spray it 4 times on a round cotton pad. Wipe it all over my face, wait for it to dry, and then apply my foundation! I use the revlon colorstay foundation for oily skin and I like it. I still have to blot my face at least once a day with the clean & clear oil absorbing pads, but before I was having to blot about every 2-3 hours to get rid of the shine, so it's still an improvement!
If anyone else has foundation suggestions, I'm totally curious what everyone else uses for oily skin.
I've also heard that coconut oil works wonders for oily skin! Lately my skin has been a little dry in some spots because I've had some troublesome breakouts that won't go away, and the Proactiv has dried it out too much. Today I used the Proactiv moisturizer under my foundation, and I was shocked that my skin hasn't been more oily than usual! Someone told me that the reason we have oily skin is because we try too hard to dry it out, so our body naturally produces more oil to compensate. So in theory, if we moisturize or add more oil, our body won't overproduce it.
I know you said you tried blotting but have you tried the MAC ones? Honestly only blotting papers that I find that work

Anyone with common sense would know how to do this. Minimal makeup tutorials like this shouldn't even exist. Our faces are all different and the choosing the most essential products out of our routine to "wake us up" will be different for anyone. Idk why people like these kinds of videos. So incredibly dull

ELF is also cruelty free and vegan and super cheap. most of their stuff is pretty good, but they have there misses as do most lines.

You were the first beauty guru I found. I watched pretty much all your videos and you basically taught me how to do makeup. But watching your videos now - they are getting boring and simple. I feel like you're not really teaching anything. And it's obvious you're working with Rimmel. I like the old you.

Does ANYONE have a favorite mascara?!
I have SUPER OILY skin and even if I buy a waterproof mascara, it still comes off during the day under my eyes...not sure what to do about it, thank you ! :)
It's not exactly a mascara but I have the same problem and I've been using the Anastasia lash genius topcoat. It does an amazing job at making any mascara completely budge proof. Try a sample first is you can because it is a bit expensive for a clear topcoat but I do think its worth it. Hope this helps :)
I also have oily skin, and my fav mascara is from Yves Saint Laurent waterproof mascara, really works well and nothing comes out under the eyes after the long day :)
I use a mascara primer and it keeps basically any waterproof mascara from smudging. At all.
I had the same problem until I started using the Clinique bottom lash mascara! It seriously never flakes or smudges but somehow it isn't hard to get off at the end of the day. I like Covergirl lash blast volume waterproof and Maybelline the rocket volume waterproof mascara on my top lashes and they don't smudge as long as I have a little powder on my eyelids. You could also try the Clinique mascara on your top lashes to give other mascaras more staying power. I think it also helps if I use a little bit of the same setting powder I use on my face on my bottom lashes before and after mascara. I feel like it kind of makes a transparent seal around the mascara to help protect it from the oil in my skin. Hope this helped!
I have the same problem!! And I use the colossal go extreme volum' waterproof by maybelline, is an excellent mascara you should try it :)

+Marisa Tracy If you watch, she generally looks down (with her eyes half closed) at a mirror when applying to her top lashes - this way her eyelashes are naturally lower and it's much easier to avoid the smudging.
