I love the sliding door to the workshop.
Very cool! The movement is really satisfying. But other than that, it would be interesting to analyze how much clearance this kind of storage requires compared to other designs with the same volumetric capacity.
The problem with the grill design is that it appears to rely on the rotational inertia of the grill itself to move past a "sticking point" in the middle that determines which way the grill will flip. Yours, being directly rotated by hand, doesn't suffer from the same problem, but I think the handle mechanism was part of the charm of the grill design.
Since you're using this mechanism for storage, it would be interesting to see it built into a cabinet with the door acting as the lever that triggers the flipping action. That way, you could have a cabinet where the contents change each time you close and re-open it!
Nice build. I am stealing this idea. 3:18 The most accurate way to find the center of a circle is to draw a straight line between two points on the circle (a chord). Draw a perpendicular line from the center of that chord to the opposite side of the circle. Draw a second chord anywhere else on the circle, draw a perpendicular line from the center of that chord to the opposite side of the circle. The intersection of the two perpendicular lines you drew will be the center of the circle.
Great tip - how to cool your feet. Oh, love the dual display/tool box you describe.
Another really interesting build. Something I love about your videos is that I don't have to speak the same language as you to follow clearly what you're doing, you make it so clear. Great work.
I tapped the CC button at the top of the video screen and turned on captions and it gave me English translation. At the top right you should see a CC button before you go fullscreen. If it does not default to English you can change that. Mine went to English by default.

How did you do that door?
Pause the video on the door and you can see the hinges. It is 2 rails 1 on each wall and the hinges allow the door to turn. I thought that was pretty cool myself.
