  • In today’s VLOG, leave suanbo, chungju to Jeomchon, Mungyeong. Beautiful farmlands, and steep climbing hills. Ending in a town inside Mungyeong called Jeomchon. I chose to stay in a Love Motel. Let’s see how it goes.

    You almost sold me on a Mavic. Sometimes I leave the Phantom at home only to kick myself later for not carrying it. Seems like where portability's concerned, the Mavic can't be beat.
    As for the love motels, I never had problems with them for a night stay while traveling on weekends with friends. You're right, some of them can be pretty dirty but as you said, you don't have to participate in anything illicit. For a cheap night stay it'll do the job. Safe travels on the next leg of the ride!

    Korean country side is looking much cleaner than the Chinese counterparts, and much more bike friendly it seems.
    10:52 that symbol is internationally defined as an onsen/hot spring place, you'll know when you go to Japan again lol

    • @JaYoeNation
      @JaYoeNation  7 років тому

      As for cleanness in the countryside, Zhejiang and Jiangsu might be able to compete with that, judging from matt's video of course . But Korean bring bike friendliness to a whole new level. Much less traffic on the road is also good for cyclists, not for the economy though.

    Honestly you don't need to worry about leaving anything in Korea. I find it one of the safest countries in the world for theft. I once left a cell phone on a subway and it didn't move until the cleaning crew found it 6 hours later. I called the end of the line lost and found and sure enough my cell phone was there.

    Hahaha, I would've have stayed too, I would not take part in the services either, because I am not that type of guy, but I am the kind of person even though my friends say I am a "really nice person", I honestly don't care what the world thinks of me, and that gives me confidence, and being so I try never to be scared of a situation, never try to judge others, and take every opportunity to discover new things, adventure, and challenge my perceptions. Jayoe!

    I'm always curious why more people don't use a Drone for the "drive by" footage. Set the drone up, drive by and get your shot, then fly it back to you. Especially, with all the super small high quality drones available.
    I'm lazy, so I'm always looking for short cuts!

    Those sign like a birthday cake is actually means Sauna - a hot sauna & bath center. Some Korean go there once a month to bath and do an extreme body death skin exfoliating by getting an exfoliator man (for man) or woman (for woman guest) to scrub off their dead skin off their body.

    lol "love motels" don't offer any "services" besides accommodating you with a room. people just go there as couples to stay the night. most koreans don't leave their family homes until marraige hence love motels are a way for them to have intimacy.

    If those many motels in suburban areas do illegal services they will probably go bankrupt. There is not enough population(=customer), so they have to encounter big competition.
    Those motels are mostly for lovers from near middle sized city or metropolis. They drive to suburb , enjoy local food, fresh air and view , rest in those motels , make love.
    Plus, travelers also can use those motels. Even many Korean singers rest in those motels after working at local festival.

      That is silly. He plays a lot of trip hop, which is neat. Trip hop and down tempo is popular in countries like Japan (search Nujabes). Metal and alternative rock are popular in Japan. In Korea hip hop is popular and is often accompanied by K-pop. And in the ROC, where I am, hip hop and pop are popular. I love traditional traditional Asian history and culture, but modern Asian history and culture are neater in my opinion
