One of the MANY things I love about Disturbed is that they talk about real issues in the world. They call the media out on their shit, they call anyone who does evil shit out, and they do it in the most badass way possible. It's amazing. It's why I idolize Disturbed.

@jay son That exists, yes, but a huge reason why such conflict exists is because of other benefits as well. For example, I am Kurdish and my family comes from Iraq. Under Saddam's reign, we Kurds were targeted under the dictator's rule. Random Kurdish men who were of age were forcibly taken from their homes to be drafted into the Iraqi army. If the family resisted, they would be killed. Even a certain amount of facial hair (I don't remember if beards were prohibited or required) could be reason enough to be a targeted Kurd. Bombs were buried underground near playgrounds and homes, waiting to go off when anyone Kurdish walked over them. People were buried alive and it was just horrible. My own mother nearly got drafted into their military. My dad went to university so that his drafting would be put on hold.
The U.S. only became involved so much because there is a large amount of oil in Iraq and multiple credible sources have stated this (I read it in a book I had to read for my APUSH class a few years ago so I don't remember the title of it unfortunately). Yes, there are ethical reasons for war and now my family over seas is very safe thanks to that. Hell, I'm alive because the U.S. intervened and succeeded... but there are also corrupt reasons that are fed by greed that fuel war. It's like a two-sided coin, and too much corruption leads to a certain degree of unnecessary violence and warfare.

The sound is amazing as always, and i really love the themes they talk about in their songs. Disturbed never disappoints.
I love how disturbed is able to make great music that still has a deep and powerful message. It shows how much their music truly means to them unlike a lot of the more "mainstream" pop and rap.
The question shouldn’t be why do they do this, the question should be, how do we stand up to this.

It sounds a lot like their other work, honestly. It's still good, but just the same sound we've heard from them. I was also disappointed by the video, as even their "Sound of Silence" had more motion and left a bigger impact.
Some one needs to learn and post how to make easy The Guy masks with hoods so an army of Disturbed fans could just freak out the band at concerts.

I was thinking make a master copy, and then cut out 2D paper templates people can just glue/tape together from that. The eyes would be up to them, maybe a clear red material or get some cheap red thin glow sticks and bend them around. Hoodie is of course the way to go, or just throw in a quick hood template for some quick lazy sewing.
You could probably do something with EVA form. The stuff cosplayers use. Once I save up some expendable funding ill give it a shot probably.
