Why would it not be, the problems of greed and corruption are as old as the human race. Its been this way for thousands or years, to think we would break free of that or that it would change in a mere 3 years is delusional.

This is why I love this band they talk about real problems like how war makes money and political gain
@jay son That exists, yes, but a huge reason why such conflict exists is because of other benefits as well. For example, I am Kurdish and my family comes from Iraq. Under Saddam's reign, we Kurds were targeted under the dictator's rule. Random Kurdish men who were of age were forcibly taken from their homes to be drafted into the Iraqi army. If the family resisted, they would be killed. Even a certain amount of facial hair (I don't remember if beards were prohibited or required) could be reason enough to be a targeted Kurd. Bombs were buried underground near playgrounds and homes, waiting to go off when anyone Kurdish walked over them. People were buried alive and it was just horrible. My own mother nearly got drafted into their military. My dad went to university so that his drafting would be put on hold.
The U.S. only became involved so much because there is a large amount of oil in Iraq and multiple credible sources have stated this (I read it in a book I had to read for my APUSH class a few years ago so I don't remember the title of it unfortunately). Yes, there are ethical reasons for war and now my family over seas is very safe thanks to that. Hell, I'm alive because the U.S. intervened and succeeded... but there are also corrupt reasons that are fed by greed that fuel war. It's like a two-sided coin, and too much corruption leads to a certain degree of unnecessary violence and warfare.

One of the MANY things I love about Disturbed is that they talk about real issues in the world. They call the media out on their shit, they call anyone who does evil shit out, and they do it in the most badass way possible. It's amazing. It's why I idolize Disturbed.

For sure .You meant the song .And also that was my goal when i wrote that to help people ( not that i am a smart guy who knows everything - for sure not ), and to make them think and challenge they'r own believes - because there has to be a shift in the mindset , and it starts from the individual ( we have to find our-self in us , because the true self is buried and suppressed deep inside , as we grow up living in this toxic society mindset ). There has to be a change but its hard because we are living like this for a long time ( some people for 50 years and they'r life is some-what embedded in this way of living ).But hey i for sure notice one thing , as i started breaking my life apart ( what really matters to me , what am i holding on - is it worth it or am i doing it because of habit because everyone is doing it or its just a self convenience ).The first change is the hardest - after that it becomes easier. Why are Disturbed songs becoming more and more accurate... Humanity is so screwed.
This is especially relevant right now. I know it could easily cover almost any time in history as well. However with the push to go after Iran by every dinosaur "news"media network and politician on both sides it definitely fits.
They're so willing to send other people to kill and die over political differences that they say they have. If the politicians who started the war had to fight in it, there would be more hesitation.
So glad Trump decided to pull back, and seeing Tucker Carlson plus a bunch from both sides of the political spectrum agreeing with the decision. This can be proof that there is hope to an understanding in a political decision. Last thing we need right now is a war, and the talks with North Korea can be a step in a better direction too.

Вспомним конфликты вокруг Тузлы(2003), вспомним то, как рашка вошла на украинские территории и аннексировала часть из них в 14м году(что самое главное, до годов 2018-2019 Пукин всегда отнекивался, мол, там наших не было никогда, мы ничего не делали и просто помогали ополчению, но как только он начал войну, так сразу же риторика изменилась в сторону "там нужно было помочь нашим людям которых притесняют"). Давай ещё вспомним провокации в азовском море в 2018 году и "учения" длинной в год, которые, по словам великого и вечно молодого бурноволосого лидера Путлера до 2022 года "Не являются подготовкой к нападению на Украину".
И да, согласен с тем, что примитивный западный подход тут не работает. Виноват лично Путин, все его приближенные и такие люди как ТЫ. Так тебе больше нравится?

except not all fights are ones that we needed to fight. Iraq was one of those situations, all we needed to do was make sure Saddam was sent to hell, then pull out. instead we kept our boys over there for 2+ years. Disturbed has no qualms about fighting for what's right, it's about having to do so all the time when there's no real threat.

Yes, I still like disturbeds music but it is nothing like the old disturbed that was motivating and heavy now it's like they are more trying to so more stuff like sound of silence because it got the most views. Sound of silence was amazing. But yes this is the best of new album and " Are you Ready" other than that it wasn't magic right away to me at least.

Austin Anthony yeah I’m in same boat. Wasn’t a fan of immortalized nor the cover song. Few good tracks on there like the bonus ones. This album will be interesting but I won’t listen to the acoustic sappy shit more than once.
