the lack of mettaton songs in fnf is weird considering he's one of the only undertale characters who would probably actually have a rap battle with you in the game
The only characters in Undertale I could imagine actually wanting to do a rap battle other then Mettaton are:
Sans & Papyrus: a bit a of a guess, but those two are normally really wacky so singing isn’t too much of a stretch to assume.
Undyne: kinda depends. Due to her competitiveness. She might end up doing the rap battle simply to prove herself better then Bf.
Flowey: to clarify, I mean at the start. Given that Flowey is implied to be great at manipulating and taking advantage of people, I feel like he would at first attempt to play along with Bf’s game if they had first met.
@@cantmakeacreativename2072 for undyne, i assume she would have a rap battle with you similar to how the date with undyne started, with papyrus (or someone else in this case) making it a challenge for undyne
Not to mention mettaton has a microphone in the game

It's even more depressing that this song went unused because of how rare it is to find good songs/mods that are Undertale related that aren't about Sans (and any AU version of him), Papyrus (same with the AUs) or Chara wich is surprising since I was also expecting to include Gaster with theese three and yet there aren't even good mods/songs with him so down with Mettaton, Undyne and the rest of them he goes I guess.

Yeah, it is quite sad that some of Undertale's best characters get overshadowed by the memes. Also, there is a good Gaster song from the X event mod, even though it's X Gaster and not the canon one, which is the closest we have to a good Gaster song imo
Thats why I'm waiting the Undertale mod to be finished and give the spotlight to the rest of the characters
Always baffles me that Undyne hasnt gotten a good mod yet considering a gimmick of her battle was blocking arrows lol

Probably because Undertale is the most represented of the 3 with 4 base songs and 3 extra songs (4 if you count sanssss) so adding a 5th bonus song would be a bit of an overkill
Plus, even though this is a good song, Papyrus' along with Sans were the best idea.

at the end credits it says "Indie Cross will return" so it probably is gonna get an update

Even though its a great song, i think that it is way to similar to death by glamour, and Indie cross is specially cautious with thats, since its maybe the only of the 13 vs sans mod (i know its not only sans) that dont include megalovania as a song. But that is just my theory.
Damn, this would have been an amazing addition to IndieCross! Despite not making it into the official mod, this was a great composition!
It's a shame that this wasn't used, because out of all the Undertale characters, Mettaton is the most likely one to have a sing off with Boyfriend.

I got a mechanic idea
So use the arrow keys for A, B, C, and D and then a question will come up and if you guess it correctly, you gain health. If you get it wrong or run out of time, you lose health.
Questions can be the ones in the original game

I totally understand why they went with Papyrus in order to stay closer to Sans, Mettaton randomly being the extra character rep might have felt weird in my opinion, but I really hope this gets another chance in an update as a secret song or something.

@@marzmaybe I see it a bit differently. Cuphead is the main protagonist of the game and the Devil is the main antagonist. Meanwhile, the team chose Sans to represent Undertale, and thus they probably wanted to focus mainly on the Sans side of Undertale.
