God doesn't want us to suffer, because he loves us, but suffering is a side effect of giving us free will. The thing about suffering is that even though he doesn't want it for us, it helps us trust God because we realize that we need him to cope with suffering, and in turn we can help others who suffer.

I am not religious at all, but damn I love Fireflights music, its just some absolutely AMAZING truly unique music. It has motivated me, and kept me going at times. I am an atheist but honestly, you dont HAVE to be Christian to enjoy music like this. It really is truly amazing music, thanks Fireflight!
I remember listening to this song with my dad in the car. This band was our special band that we listened to on trips, and while I'm not Christian anymore.. I still have a very soft spot for this band. I haven't really listened to them outside of spending time with my dad years ago, but they still sound as good as I remembered, coming from someone who listens to tons of rock.
