Was at this show and right in frony of J and those stacks all night. Yes, I wore earplugs that show. I invested in dubbs about 7 yrs ago, being that I go to tons of shows and I'm now 42. Didn't always protect my hearing in my younger years. It's no longer fun but now scary not to hear for a couple of days after a show.
Not gonna lie, I've been to quieter raves then when I saw them live... Man watching J Mascis walk on stage and then play like a guitar wielding gandalf the grey was awesome. But then also Lou and Murph just smashed it as well. 🤷♂️ I'm blaming the tinnitus I have now at least partly on them. 😂

Jay Spiegel drummed on a few cuts on George Brigman's Rags In Skull CD, which was released in 2007. I played bass on that album.
