No political/social/religious ideas Cartels only kill people that mess with them, they usually don't kill people just because (unlike a lot of mass shootings in the us) Cartels should do something againts civilians or directly attack american citizens to be terrorist

It is my understanding that in order to call something terrorism has to be inline with religious, race, or political beliefs. So I'm assuming that for set reasons at the moments the cartels have never been labeled as terrorist organizations. It would have been of best interest of the public for the anchor to point out that fact and see that did Vitiello had to say on that aspect.
Maybe the term "terrorism" needs different classifications, levels or branches added to it. Because lets face it in Mexico these "cartels" walk all over Mexican authority. They raided a jail, released inmates and killed many Mexican officers in the processes. Mexico's "hugs not bullets" did NOT work in the Mexican officer's favor here. After that they "cartels" started shooting at Mexican airplanes as they were landing on a runway at a airport. Mexico had to call their military in to deal with it. Does that sound like a form of terrorism to you?
@Anglofone We get it, guns don't kill people. People use guns to kill either way. And the gun manufactures historically speaking has sold weapons to both sides of just about any conflict. Especially in modern times. Hardly has there even been an exclusive gun manufacture that only sells to designated "good guys" more to just whoever can fork up the cash.
The real 100 billion dollar question is why haven't they yet?
Because the real terrorist org. is the US.

It will probably turn out the CIA has been funding drug cartels.

Declare them as terrorists.
Yes every country should
Probably should have been asking that question 40 years ago
why 40? Did we forget the mafia was in the US thriving in the 30's?

@Amy Hartman yes, it does Amy, so you're right maybe the term should be evaluated!
Considering it's an invasion, and the cartels are heavily into human trafficking, we should absolutely consider them a terrorist organization
Not Biden's Buddies
Should mexican presidente declare Guns makers as terrorist organisations
Idk, after every mass shooting, gun sales mysteriously skyrocket.

If he did😂 he wouldn’t do nothing because the terrorist criminals in Mexico will some how get a hold of Russian aks
Almo works for them sell out not like in the US
Sería muy interesante saber quiénes en USA reciben y distribuyen la droga.

Build a wall, against the people that build walls for a living. You really are the typical american aren't ya?
What if the US helps people addicted to drugs?
If there's no buyers
