I occasionally hear this "omg support is so broken" stuff from streamers... If support was "broken" it would be the role people pick to stomp when they smurf. Support isnt a bad role, but its like jungle in that if ur lanes are feeding you cant do much, you ALSO dont get to fall back on farming to catch up as support. Ive maintained for a long time that support effectiveness scales on your team skill more than anything. I make the example of "If I make one of my team 2x effective with my sup skills, and theyre overall ability is half a normal player, then I can only bring them up to average. If the enemy support can also 2x a player on their team, but they have someone of average skill to begin with then they will probably win." The bottom line is this a team game and 2v1 is strong, and supports can gank. Ganking is the broken part. Back in season 5 or 6 they shortened the lifetime of wards, and this buffed jg and support roams. Its not much of a secret that jg role was op for a while, so much that if you had an autofilled one was enough to make some people dodge. Autofilled jg was one of the bigger contributes to the reason names were hidden in lobbies. People wernt seeing autofilled support and saying "Oh no, the broken support role is autofilled, gg, dodge!!" All that, and my point is supports can gank, and ganking is the busted part. Winning lane isnt enough as support, you have to act like a jungler and invade, and gank lanes, and ward objectives. So if supports are acting like junglers to be broken, maybe its jungle thats broken. To touch on the shutdown issue. You finished the game with less gold than everyone on your team. Shutdowns are based on how much gold you have over the average player. You didnt have enough CS to have enough gold to have a shutdown worth more than 150. This goes to my previous point, you cant fall back on farming. Supports that have a good early game with some kills and assist still often fall behind in XP and gold by midgame cause of all the roaming and warding and clearing wards. If you had some huge shutdown from having some kills it would just make getting a kill on support a liability to the point you would have to protect your shutdown as much as a laning carry, but with less xp and gold than one... By the time 20 minutes has come around, you will almost always have less gold than your teammates, and if you have more then either youre having a god game or your teammates are dragging you down hard. Long comment, but just annoying to see some streamer get support, pop off, and then pretend every game would play out the same way because zomg sup so broken lul...

I once duo with a Darius support. He was carrying for two games then he fed for 10 games.
I play this setup all the time since months now and its nice.. support Singed with predator. But I use ghost and flash + ultimate hunter, works better for me.

Two top laners noodling each other all game is low-impact in the sense that their actions don't make the game move forward. However, they have high impact in the sense that they are removing the other top laner. This doesn't move the game forward, but if it didn't exist, the team wouldn't function. Like highly trained porters for an army!

for support singed i prefer running fleet for sustain and i just run cosmic insight for faster ghost

why would they put a giant bounty on the ez but then also put one on the singed? It's either or. And in this case Kills > assists is how it works.
Theres a reason low elo lux and xer supports will get 700gold bounties all the time.
