Didn't go to university? GREAT!!! No need!! I also had a particular teacher - at a design school - who was just like the one who told you you had no talent etc. He himself was 2nd rate. I also had a teacher at an art center who was a wonderful artist and who taught me so much.
Schools and teachers can influence us either way and they can break your confidence and passion. Be careful!
