The embalmer leaving in this match instead of coffining (because Pros and FO were too far from gate for the dungeon to open in time anyway) made me age 20 years
It's even more upsetting because it's not even his fault, he was the only one who didn't have a view of what was happening so his teammates were likely the ones who told him in comms to leave because they were at the gate but they, in fact, were not at the gate lol. They were probably too riled up to think clearly...
I think it's the Acro who screwed up here. He was standing on dungeon, so he probably got greedy and told embalmer to leave so he could take the hatch.
Okay, I'm here to clear what is going on. If you see the highlights of the match on the Japanese live stream, you can hear them speaking to each other at the very end. It's CLEAR that they tell Embalmer to leave, and that he is near the dungeon. So it's a really big miscommunication on part of the team, they just truly believed that they would make in time, but it was just a poor decision.

This is the first time that i watch this kind of Game so idk why the hunter wins, all of survs have to leave at the end? Is that?

@@adilenegarcia8178 Look at the top, you see 1 (RC score) on the left and 3 (GG score) on the right. Now, a match has 3 rounds, a single round is divided into two, they are called the "first half" and "second half". Go back and look at the top again, you can see the letters, W (win), D (draw/tie), L (lose)- 3Kills/3survivors escape and 4Kills/4survivors escape is a win, 2Kills/2survivors escape is a draw/tie, 1Kill/1 survivor escape and 0Kill/0 survivor escape is a lose in half of a round, but overall score in a round is what matters to determine whether a team won or lost that round.
So at the left side is the record of RC in round 1 and 2, they have 1 lose and 1 draw while GG (on the right) has that 1 win and ofc that 1 draw. Round 3 first half score is the 1 (RC) and 3 (GG) that you see at the top. This is round 3 second half so it means if GG (the hunter) ties the points and also get 1 point in the second half then his team will win. According to the rules, if teams tied in 2 rounds, whoever got that win in one round will win the game, so GG basically just needed Xawm (the hunter) to get 1 survivor coz he only needed to tie the last round for his team to win. It's not really a win for the hunter but a win for his team itself.
Unfortunately, nerves got the better of a slightly less experienced team. Such a shame, they deserved this victory - it was their loss more than xawm's win; hopefully they will not dwell on this for too long and return even stronger. What an impressive feat. I appreciate the Chinese casters for their superb balance of informative knowledge, passion, and entertaining value; their excited screams made this match even more thrilling. As an Embalmer main, and after watching the video, this was a simple miscommunication problem. Keep in mind both sides of the team had been going through an intense stalemate, so much the Prospector struggled out THREE times. They were definitely panicking and getting tired. Both sides are. And as many others have mentioned, his teammates are the ones who told the Embalmer to leave. I'm positive that in any other situation where they're not panicking as bad as that match, they would've relied on the coffin instead of the dungeon. It all came down to miscalculations as well, since they probably miscounted teleport. Embalmer was simply following his orders. He's a good player with good sense, that much is apparent seeing his earlier kite against Wax Artist.
TLDR; Why y'all so pressed over a pure miscommunication fault? Try and join COA competitively if you're so adamant on blaming the Embalmer then, see if you like it being blamed when you're already under stress as is, lol. It's okay to express disappointment over how the match turned out but why are y'all blaming someone who literally tried his best?

Don't backseat and blame the embalmer for the loss, he was stuck between a rock and a hard place. He had to stay to revive acro but he also had to leave for dungeon to open. Remember that in endgame, teammates don't revive with tide so wax artist could've easily knocked mike out of the dungeon range. Ultimately it was a gamble on who had the better timing and wax artist won it. That's all
It is still elbalmer fault, teleport still have 20s cooldown, even if there's no tide coffin, they can still 4 man escape. But again I myself have poor in game decision. Can't blame their decision too... They must have thought wax artist cooldown is done or try faster 4 man escape. I'm sure RC will be better and learn their mistake from this match

The unfortunate part is that this was one of two games where RC choked really hard (the 2nd game being the game vs GW). They started off the COA6 group stage strong but ended up falling in the end.
Anyways, I hope that the next time we'll see them they perform better!

A lot of viewers are wondering why this match counts as GG's win even though RC got a 3-survivor escape. Below is a very detailed explanation of the point system and a breakdown of the scoring for RC vs GG. This is a long explanation but hopefully it helps!
This is a match from COA Group Stage where the two teams play each other in a Best of 3, so the first team to win two rounds will get the overall victory against the other team. In each round, each team's hunter and survivor factions will take turns playing each other. This video only shows the second half of Round 3 of RC vs GG, which is one of many matches played.
The point system for each round is explained below:
In a round, each survivor escape = one point for the survivor's team. And if all 4 survivors from a team escape, the survivor's team also gets a bonus point, for a total of 5 points. Likewise, each elimination by the hunter = one point for the hunter's team. And if the hunter eliminates all 4 survivors, the hunter's team also gets a bonus point, for a total of 5 points.
After the round, the points for both factions of each team are added up to determine who wins the round. After three rounds, if neither team has won two rounds, then the team that obtained the greatest cumulative points out of ALL rounds gets the overall victory. If all rounds AND cumulative points are tied, then teams would proceed to play Round 4/overtime (which I won't bother to explain since it's not relevant to this video).
Here is a detailed breakdown of the score for each round of RC vs GG:
*Round 1*
First half:
- RC hunter: 1 kill (1 pt)
- GG survivors: 3 escape (3 pts)
Second half:
- RC survivors: 2 escape (2 pts)
- GG hunter: 2 kills (2 pts)
Round 1 Score:
- GG (5 pts) > RC (3 pts)
- GG wins Round 1; RC loses Round 1
*Round 2*
First half:
- RC hunter: 1 kill (1 pt)
- GG survivors: 3 escape (3 pts)
Second half:
- RC survivors: 3 escape (3 pts)
- GG hunter: 1 kill (1 pt)
Round 2 score:
- GG (4 pts) = RC (4 pts)
- Both teams gets a draw for Round 2

RC: W0D1L1, cumulative total of 8 pts so far
GG: W1D1L0, cumulative total of 12 pts so far
*RC's win condition*
Win Round 3 second half with a 4-survivor escape (so RC would gain 5 pts while GG gets 0 pts), causing both teams to end with 1W1D1L with RC pushing ahead in cumulative points (RC 13 pts vs GG 12 pts).
*GG's win condition*
Get at least 1 kill in Round 3 second half (so GG gets at least 1 point while preventing RC from getting any more than 3 points), causing GG to maintain their point lead (GG 13 pts vs RC 11 pts). It doesn't matter if GG wins or loses the round since they're already ahead by 1 round win anyway, so they can just focus on maintaining their point lead. In the end, this is how xawm's 1 kill in this video resulted in GG's victory.

I'm not really used watching IDV tournament. But I was so confused how come that the GG win the match? Sorry the rule in their tournament confuses me so much in this. I hope someone can explain it to me properly because I'm not really familiar on IDV tournament rules.

im new to the esports scene of identity v, usually i only play quick match, can someone please enlighten me, why did thwy still lost the game even though 3 survivors managed to escaped?
There were 3 rounds having 2 matches of both team survs vs both teams hunters and team gg scored more, if the survs of rc 4 escaped they would score more and win

I don't even want to watch this match a second time. The embalmer was so frustrating. Literally the first one to leave. He shouldve waited since hunter dont even have teleport. Waiting for dungeon was not worth it. Hunter already downed Acrobat before the dungeon opened. Why did he leave.
Edit: The day that people will finally accept that yes everyone was at fault for the miscommunication but this was STILL MOSTLY Embalmer's fault for NOT WAITING or at least leaving LAST to make sure Acro can go into dungeon WILL BE THE DAY I KNOW PEACE.

Even if his teammates were screaming to leave, he should be AT LEAST be the last to get out. Acro was literally down before anyone went out, so Embalmer should WAIT. Embalmers wait.
more likely his teammate told him, since he is the only one don't know whats happening as he's at the other gate, but when his teammate told him to leave they were not at the gate so it delayed for a second for the dungeon to open.
@@demonkader3074 i still believe it is mostly embalmer's fault. Acro was downed and ballooned before they left and he can see that. He can make his own rightful judgment. He shouldve still waited or at least be the last one to leave to see if he acro can crawl to the dungeon. Also, whether acro was able to crawl near the dungeon or not, waiting is the safest and best decision. Hunter doesnt even have teleport. Acro couldve safely spawned to the gate. And yet he was the first to leave. Even the commentators are so shocked that he left immediately. I will stand and die on this hill.
PS. Even the player himself regretted leaving early. He said it in his tweets and their team's postgame livestream.

I believe it's the mix of these 3 points:
1. The survivors thought wax would still chase prospector, leaving acro to be able to crawl to the dungeon
2. The survivors thought acro was downed close enough to interact with the dungeon
3. Due to the 2nd point, I think the survivors told everyone to immediately leave so that the dungeon can open before wax ballooned acro (everyone except FO had left before acro was ballooned, means that they deliberately gave acro the dungeon). So, in short, they're fighting for the short time range between dungeon open and acro being ballooned.
4. (This one is external factor which may or may not affect the embalmers doing)-it was the first match for alphar (the embalmer) in that match vs GG, so I guess he might feel both anxious and confused facing that kind of tense moment.
