Nah her dash didn't reach the dark area that's why she used the teleport so she can use her dash again and to reset the cooldown. If they didn't do that then the cooldown for the dash will not reset and they'll be force to walk for the next 8-6 seconds. And no, your character doesn't face to a nearest survivor when you teleport back, you just go back to your original position and where you're looking at that time
