This video is by far the most information and interesting! This made A LOT of questions get answered I loved the style the video was made like how all ur different friends spoke on their experience in each house!
I am thinking about transferring to Binghamton next fall. I want to live in a place where I can have my own room, but I am afraid that will lead to me isolating in my room and not making any friends :(
Ashlyn Badger hey girl! As a transfer, you can live in the apartment communities (Susquehanna and Hillside) where you will have your own room but a shared kitchen and living room, so you can make friends! You can also try to get a single room in a flat in dickinson that way you are sharing a common space as welll :)
Hi! I'm going to be a freshman at Binghamton in August and although the signups for housing have already passed, I was wondering if you have any advice/general knowledge on certain buildings/floors within the Newing community. Unfortunately I had one of the last time slots and got stuck with a double on the ground floor of Endicott. You can be honest if this sucks lol I'm just trying to prepare myself !!!
paige holdorf hi!! I personally don’t think you can go wrong with any room in Newing. While all the rooms are kind of different sizes, you will have enough space and enough room for whatever you need. endicott is also close to the dining hall, and you won’t have to drag your laundry up any stairs because it’s on the ground floor!
@@JamieGoerke Thank you so much! I'll literally take any advice I can get lol. And thank you for this video, super helpful for anyone confused about how housing works at bing!!
I wanna live in one of the mountain view suites if I get accepted into Binghamton... if I do, will I be able to chose to live in a maintain view suite?
Yes! Housing registration works in time slots so you go on during your time slot (usually determined by when you sign the housing contract, as an incoming freshman) and place yourself in a room. As long as there are open spaces in mountainview, you are good to go!
hi thank you so much for this video it rlly helped a lot! i just wanted to ask, if you know anything about the jewish community in bing, if you could talk abt it?
Love this!! You did a great job organizing people to talk about all the communities on campus! Your hard work is greatly shown!
Thank you so much and thank you for participating!!
@@JamieGoerke of course! I'll participate anytime :)

Are the dorm rooms co-Ed?
there are some gender neutral rooms but you have to specifically request that. otherwise, your doom room will be same sex.
Hi Jamie 👋
