Hi, thanks for the review. I am planning an online course interactive with a lot of movement. I do also want to save the footage. Is the camera still working on zoom oder another live tool with movement stabilisation? And can i put an external microphone on my computer?
Whats funny is logitech had a PTZ webcam in this space before (Logitech Orbit AF) and it offered face tracking, but not gestures. Kind of wish logitech updated and brought it back, but this looks like a decent improvement over that.
I was searching for Obsbot reviews and found your channel. I will also review it next week on my youtube channel. Loved your style! Great channel. Keep up the good work bud.
Installed it myself without any issues. The wifi signal is great even ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxE_D_sddGAdiVUKp7PkkmyxO7bRtgqmk5 when the router is located far away. I really enjoy the night vision feature that allows me to see clearly any activity near our house (mostly cars and wild animals). The motion detection is helpful to me as well to monitor what happens on our front.
In practice, the camera is of little use. You make a fool of yourself with the hand signals. And if you're lucky, she will recognize one after the 3rd to 5th try. The camera is on the table next to the monitor at a distance of about 1 meter. I've tried them on different PCs. A major flaw is that the camera cannot be addressed via software. Then you could at least give the control commands reliably. What the manufacturers call AI just seems to me to be a gimmick to justify the much too high price. I also wonder why the device gets noticeably warm and obviously draws a lot of power (for what) from the USB port. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend the camera.
4K sensors will have a lot worse low-light performance. Having 1080p is good enough for most people. But I wish the quality of that 1080p was a bit better.

It doesn't have stabilization - just makes the movements. And sure - you can use an external microphone to the computer.

yeah, I remember a friend having this one. Was quite a big deal!

Welcome aboard! Look forward to seeing your video - I guess there are a lot more new awesome features.

👍
I love OBSBOT Me: AI-Powered, Auto-Tracking Phone Mount 🤣💨
Saw it in the recent weeks and it looks quite nice!
Thanks for your review. Can this be used with Zoom? Also, would it stabilize if the person is dancing (say teaching for a dance class)?
It should work fine with Zoom. No image stabilization though.
does is connect to a phone? also does it need a charge all the time or can it be used wireless?
It cannot work with a phone. Well - technically it could - but not easy to be enabled.
And no option for wireless.
At last, some freaking innovation in webcams. I work in education AV. I can see instructors using this.
Yeah, that's what I thought as well. Very convenient if you want to make more interactive presentations.
Thank you for posting this video 📹.. You sir have a new subscriber..
This is an awesome little Tech Device 👏.. A great Tech Review 👍..
Thanks for the sub!
Hi Michael, great video! works in OBS Studio? thanks
Yes it does!
Can I use it with yolobox for livestream?
Not sure about that mate.
Could I control this camera by NDI PTZ control application?
That I'm not sure about, Leonid. Sorry.
Cheers my friend, Happy New Year to you guys!
Happy new year, Donnie!! Stay safe, my brother.
Damn, Imagine it having more axis and it can stay in place, the capabilities the webcam would have would be insane
Yeah! And maybe voice commands as well 😜
Add 20x zoom would be ideal for streaming live sport events
Will be pretty hard for the algorithm to catch up with the movements 😇
DOES IT RECORD VIDEO??
Sure, you can record video using an app like OBS Studio.
Doesn't the DJI Pocket 2 all of them and more?
Sort of - yeah. No gestures though.
no kospet prime 2 review??
Haha, not yet. Let's say that there were some requirements that I don't agree with, so ... looks like I will pass on it.
@@TechMishka can we know these requirements?:))
i need webcam to livetream youtube
This one could be a good option.

Gerhard - if you have enough light in the room, and a single-colored background, commands are working pretty well.
Only 1080p for $199.00.... it's a bit of old tech... Time to come up to date... how about 4K. I'll pass this one up, no thanks, not at that price.
Plus that generic capture card can be purchased for 1/2 that price on Amazon.... again, no thanks
