I picked mine up for a RIDICULOUSLY low price at a local pawn shop a few weeks ago.
Used, but in brand-new condition, with the plastic film still covering most of the bits.
I'm not a shredder, but I love the neck-thru design and all the sonic options.
GREAT guitar.
Find good luthier or better yet a shop with a plek machine and this really would be a killer guitar for the price.
I don't understand, why would you need to plek it if it plays fine? Ibanez does a pretty damn good job at making sure the frets are in good shape.
@@chrisdigital Fret Job from the factory is not very consistent, yeah you might find some that have a great fret level, but most could benefit from a proper level.
get some locking tuners and retrofit a Hipshot bridge to it... finish the MOD with a set of Fishman moderns... and a Tusq/bone nut
At that point you might as well just buy a premium.

Is the finish walnut flat or flat black on the one you're playing?
looks like the walnut one to me.
If it is walnut.....its darker than i anticipated
Yeah... pretty dark for a walnut, but too brown to be the black version. i'll have to see one in real before I decide on the color I want.
