Washing machine, Twin tub not draining the water. Defy Twin tub 1300.

Very slow draining of water.
First I cleaned the drain pump and then noticed the valve does not open all the way.
Adjusted/shorten the strap that opens the valve.

Do you mean not spinning. Check the brake. May need to adjust the strap or cable from the lid to the brake.
