M2K FPV showed GNB 1100mAh HV 3S LIPO at 66gms, and 4S 1100mAh coming in at 87gms. Both are rated at 50C, which I would guess keeps the wt. down. Since these quads are for cruising, they seem like a good choice. Any-who, THX again.

If you took the extra camera mount off the explorer weight might be more comparable to the baby croc....my explorer didn't come with it but I ordered one for the smo camera....but thinking about buying a baby croc....hmmmm......great reviews as always..stay safe bro.....
Great review as always Justin. It's worth noting that the GEPRC doesn't seem to have crossfire on there so when it comes to the weigh in things will be a bit closer with the Flywoo (admittedly crossife isn't heavy but we're only talking a few grams).

This is a great drone. I wish these LR's would come with DJI FPV Air unit option (DVR) like the Croc 7 has. Don't want goggle DVR and don't want to carry gopro or other to keep it light. Is there an LR drone out there with DJI FPV Air unit and under 250g with 4S 650mAh? I see the Geprc Rocket Plus - but that is not designed with LR in mind. I see that Croc 4 can be bought without FPV system. Would the DJI FPV Air unit fit ? Thanks for the review.

2.5mm arms on the Croc. My Explorer HD LR w/1100 GBN is 250grams w/arm braces. 12-15 minutes cruisin.

I have ordered this baby CROC some weeks ago, can't wait for it to arrive!
So add approx 8 grams for the TBS nano receiver and the Immortal T antenna and not including the TPU mount would put the Baby around the same weight as the Explorer LR.
Excellent Video ZOHD LionPack 3000 mah for my geprc crocodile baby ....... I used to fly with 4s Lipo.... Do I have to make any change on my setup on (Betaflight or in the DJI fpv goggles) to get the Lion battery voltage reading ? I flue 1 time with the Lion pack and I get the low battery warning 5 minutes after take off.

No Idea GepRC lists the VCT6 cells as 15c/30c. They are 30 amp MAX continuous which would be 10C rating. The Datasheet directly from Murata states 15A Maximum Continuous, 30A Maximum Continuous with 80 deg C cutoff

thanks for the video review. i'm finding it hard to push over 10 minutes on the same GepRC 3000mAh battery battery on my croc baby5. i'm new to Lion battery type and all i did was cruise on that pack. did i just get a bad battery? it charges fine at 3A balance charge
Justin, which of the three do you think is best and why? I know you said the tune on the Baby Croc is the best with less jitters but any other feedback? I'm ready to buy one but there aren't very many comparison videos out there.

Wish I had waited for the Baby Croc. My Flywoo Explorer started doing random death rolls on the first flight. Going to start replacing parts before I lose it. Flywoo not interested in helping.
Ah sorry to hear but when mine arrived I it didn't have a vista which is how i ordered it or I would still be waiting for it. But I replaced everything in it, all accept the motors and frame, put my own tune. Zero issue and it beautiful to fly!

Getting into this hobby for just 1 month. flying 2inches (iflight Alpha a 85 and the titan DC 2 around my house) and had a really good time with them. This is a really nice review! I have decided that I will go crocodile baby4 . Just a question, Justin. If I go crocodile baby 4 Dji version,(not the TBS Crossfire Nano RX version) with the default factory DJI goggles and DJI Controller, how far could I fly with this 4 inches bird you reckon dude? (conservatively, you know I wont fly too far away from me, 1 km would be happy for me above very very tall trees all the time)
You could get out 1km. Just keep it high up. You’ll have less chance of signal loss.

Yes, absolutely it would be fine for some coastal flying. But if I could choose. The 7" for windier coastal days.

Hey Justin. My dad just bought one of these super excited to get it. I was helping him get some extra parts for it and we couldn't figure out what the antenna on it was. Manufacture shows as Momoda 5.8g LHCP but then it asks if it's UFL 175MM or MMCX-90 195 MM. do you know which it is? Thanks
Mine came with a GEPRC branded RHCP one. I looked at the website pics, which show LHCP, and bough matching antennas only to find out it shipped with RHCP.

The Crocodile comes with an LHCP Antenna, ist it possible to change to an RHCP one? Or will it not compatible with the Drone?
Yes, you can change it, but will need to select one with enough cable length and the right connector. My Baby croc came with a RHCP one. If you use a LHCP RX antenna for a RHCP TX you'll get much reduced range.

You can't bind Vista Rx to Opentx radios. At least not yet. DJI radio only. But you can add any RX you like to the quad.

Oh yeah I just noticed that you said the battery will fly off if you used a larger one. Those rubber battery pads that come with the quad copter’s especially the one that you have on the model make the battery slip off. They are the worst battery retention pads I’ve ever seen. I know you know this ummagrip all the way.
I use 2" velcro where I can. Works better than any 3M pads out there. Rarely flies off unless the strap breaks. Ummagrip is good though.
