The good thing about Jiner is that she loves her child despite the circumstances under which he was conceived. Unfortunately, I felt that this episode ended the relationship between Awu and her brother. Lastly, am I the only one appreciating Ayue the maid. She's beautiful and loyal. I hope she grows as an actress. I'd love to see her as a lead

I’ve enjoyed the production as well and as a cdrama fan, have watched several. But, I must respectfully differ on opinion of TMOPB or Eternal Love! To me it is comparing apples vs. oranges. For me one of the big differences is the OST...no comparison what so ever! Also when it comes to the ML’s chemistry and level of acting...again no comparison! When I look at costumes, no comparison. In this drama, the main difference that makes her wardrobe beautiful is the fabric used. The designer did not vary from her design of the robes worn, which means there is a lack of creativity. On the script, I felt in Eternal Love there was more of a draw into the pain and love experienced by both ML’s which I attribute to chemistry, but also you actually saw the romance and relationship develop, utilization of acting skills and the OST. No one beats Marc for the Prince and I really like this main lead. Marc has a wide range of facial expressions and acting skills (including fight scenes) which is part of his hallmark as an actor. I’ve gone back to rewatch several times just to laugh at his facial expressions! Regarding the FL’s, the comparison differs. QQ was a strong female lead in a different way. She was the disciple of the God of War, so her fighting skills were kick Ass with a fan, while dressed to kill! Our FL is this drama exemplifies strength through love, forgiveness and nurturing...apples and oranges can’t be compared and we need uniqueness in storylines. I liked her strong quality because the drama is made to give a stark difference in the goodness & righteousness of love vs. hate, greed, lust, etc. Love always wins! I really believe the production for EL should have been more recognized regarding awards for acting, costumes and OST...let alone the millions of views recorded just on UA-cam! I didn't say it was btr than TMOPB I said it's comparable😉. I love Marc and Yang Mi too they had alot chemistry. So did ZZY and CYW which is what kept me watching. It's a stretch for me to watch anything over 40 epis but when there's chemistry bt the leads and a good s/l I'm in. Anyways like u said everyone is entitled to their opinion😁

So true, I don't know why people don't understand this fundamental truth. In real life, God doesn't force us to do what is right but gives us free will to chose. If we make a wrong choice we suffer the consequences of our own bad choice!! It is not God's fault that we suffer, when He has put before us the right way for us to follow!!! It seems like a slow moving drama, but I like they way they have written it, because there is a lot of character development. The backstories of Xiao Qi and Hulan Zhen are amazing within itself. As you get to understand the agendas of ministers and Wang Lin and even Empress Dowager, you see how some characters lose themselves to their own selfish desires and suffer the consequences and how others hold onto their integrity and even surprise themselves at how far they are willing to sacrifice for others. I just love it. too!!!!

Everyone was shocked to see a full-term baby because she had been saying that she was only 7 months pregnant, so they’re expecting to see a premature baby, and the baby probably didn’t look Chinese either, perhaps had Hulan features.
Since Su-Jin'er knew long ago the princess stopped loving Zitan and was like a sister to the Princess, could she have asked the Princess to let her serve Zitan instead? Would the Princess have minded? The Princess even asked Su-Jin'er if she liked anyone, but SU-Jin'er said no.
I've often wondered the same thing. Then I re-watch the entire thing and there's a scene where Jin'er had gone to serve Zitan, and A'wu requested that someone be sent to go get her, saying that some else should serve Zitan
Awu continues to be compassionate, even though it must be so hard sometimes. I hope Xiao Qi is careful around Huai En. Xiao Qi needed to know the truth, but it's not right for it to be twisted like this.

Xiao Qi is not buying his performance. You can tell by his expressions. He’ll go after Zitan - naturally. But Xiao Qi knows that even the Emperor, Zitan, doesn’t have the power to pull off any military action so someone else is behind Count Suyi. He suspects Awu’s brother, Su’er - especially since he was indirectly involved with Aunte Xu’s murder. Awu knows that she trusted Su’er with Jing’er & both she & Xiao Qi is trying to reveal the snake behind Su’er’s “plan” to use Jing’er in the battle for the throne. We shall see what happens when they discover that “Daddy Dearest” Wang is the one calling all of the shots!
I'm glad she had a serious talk with her brother. This might give him the courage to change his motives, stop following his father. He already help kill the aunt or help cover it up. Awu husband is always suspecting her family like he should. Her family is power hungry. Thankfully she has him.

But Xiao Qi knows that even the Emperor, Zitan, doesn’t have the power to pull off any military action so someone else is behind Count Suyi. He suspects Awu’s brother, Su’er - especially since he was indirectly involved with Aunte Xu’s murder. Awu knows that she trusted Su’er with Jing’er & both she & Xiao Qi is trying to reveal the snake behind Su’er’s “plan” to use Jing’er in the battle for the throne. We shall see what happens when they discover that “Daddy Dearest” Wang is the one calling all of the shots!
