    nice video. my mirror stop being adjustable.. the knob that is used to adjust snaps back to one position when you let go of it and the mirror is always facing inward. is this an easy fix or do I need to just replace the whole assembly?

    Do you have a video on replacing the clear plastic casing on the exterior of the driver's side mirror? Just trying to see if I don't have to replace the entire driver's side mirror. Thanks.

    Hey I just thought of an awesome video idea! Convince Geno to produce an aftermarket solution to the puddle lights and turn signal replacement for the 4th gen folding mirrors. I hate replacing those 4 lights on an almost yearly basis for about $200.
    I'd spend $200 for an aftermarket LED set/solution if it meant it would last 3 years or so. I'm actually considering doin the LED mod conversion that's on some of the forums. If genos could gather all the parts necessary to do the mod and have you make a video installing them that would also be cool. Please help the 4th gen folding mirror sufferers. Lol thanks.

      @@victorybravo5627 I dont know for sure.....never had to in the past. It would be something I would have to mess with while looking at the scanner to see if something can be turned off or not.

    Hi, would you kindly explain how the mechanical fan and the Efan works on the a 2013 Ram Hemi and also why is the mechanical fan still used wouldn't an electric be more efficient??

    • @MotorCityMechanic
      @MotorCityMechanic  8 років тому +1

      Alot of the times the mechanical fan is part of the towing package option of a truck. You can get great air flow with an electric fan but there will be those times when the mechanical fan will be needed to help with the higher trans temps. Basically one is a primary and then the other is that added protection in the situations when needed.

      Awesome thanks for your quick response. I do have a towing package from the factory but don't tow. As you said it's an extra protection if I did. Funny thing I disabled MSD with a tuner and didn't change MPG. Never thought it was useful unless a person drove on all flat land. Again you make great videos and look forward to a lot more keep up the great work.

      Thanks Anthony. MDS has to be in that certain driving condition for it to really have any affect long term. Appreciate you watching and have a great weekend

    do you have any videos that show how to remove and replace a faulty cam sensor on a 3.6 pentastar ? sorry if this is off topic.

      What vehicle is the engine in? I just want to see if I have a specfic video on that vehicle to show the upper intake removal. Also.....there are 2 sensors, one on top of each valve cover.

      MotorCity Mechanic thanks for the reply! i have a 2011 durango express 3.6L

    • @MotorCityMechanic
      @MotorCityMechanic  8 років тому +1

      I dont have a video on that specific vehicle but plenty of videos on the 3.6 that show the cam sensor being removed during a repair. It will help to show where they are located and how to remove. You will have to do what ever is needed to remove the intake for that vehicle. Here is a link to a video series I recommend watching. Its multiple parts but at some point I do remove the cam sensor. As mentioned....there are 2 of them. ua-cam.com/video/OG4-IKSwzFk/v-deo.html
