I loved this video! You've made me that much more excited to visit Shanghai this summer!! All the food looked so good and the prices are much cheaper than I was thinking too. Super lovely to see that you can eat alone in a lot of places, its comforting in a way. I hope your work gets less stressful over the next few months! 加油
Thank you for a lovely comment. Exactly, the range of food price is quite wide here in Shanghai. You can always choose what you prefer. I'm pretty sure Shanghai in summer will be amazing Chris!
Just a friendly clarification☺ : the main food in China varies according to geographic locations. Generally, in southern China (like Shanghai you're in), people mostly eat rice everyday with their dishes and only eat noodles, buns or other wheat-made products occasionally. In northern China, it's the opposite. This is mainly because of the historical reason where rice is easier to grow in the south, while wheat is easier to grow in the north.
Yea, The wait is over. 🎉 I like all the meals you had in this video. They look similar to Thai foods right? I don’t think you will miss Thai food and cook often 😆
Good video Fancie. It is interesting for us because you ate at places we wouldn't normally choose. So we got to see some different things to eat. We also got a few glimpses of your new apartment. Great views from your balcony and your apartment is very modern and nice.
Hi Fancie, I forgot that you work six days a week! Over here in the United States, most of us only work five days! Yes, I could tell how stressful your job is for you. As it showed from your actions and your mood. Yet, that is common in any type of career that is like yours. I do hope that you do go work out to release some of that stress inside you. That is very important for your health. I loved seeing all the different types of food that you eat in a week. I liked how you dressed so well to match that temperature each day. I found it interesting how you could order on your phone and it would be brought to your table. That would be nice here if places would have that type of app too. That does make it quick and fast. Some of the dishes looked very interesting and I could tell how you truly enjoy them. The soups looked so good and the amount of food too. The squid was something to see. My favorite was watching you cook your food on the hot plate at that restaurant. I liked the meats on the stick, as they did make me very hungry. You need to unwind on Sunday and just do your favorite thing for yourself. After all, you work so hard and you do put those hours in each day. What you spend in a week there would be compared to $160.00 here in the United States. The salary would be higher over here too for the work in your field as well. Thank you for sharing your life and letting us be a part of it.
Hi Anthony, I actually work 5 days a week at my corporate job, but Saturday might still reflects some busy vibes to you because I also spend it on creating UA-cam videos. I really enjoy it though! Thank you once again for your lovely comment and I wish you a wonderful week!
Why Fun! Why! You are making me soooo hungry 😭 Joke aside I really enjoy watching your vlog! It makes me miss Shanghai a lot. When I was working there I also eat alone a lot when I get off work (mostly order food delievery at home) cuz I am tired and don't want to socialize (soon as my friends). Even tho I get along with my colleagues well but usually I think being with them 8 hours per day is long enough haha. And I was single and still am so I am still eating alone in Amsterdam, but I need to cook by myself now cuz food delivery or eating at a proper restaurant is sooooo expensive here.
I warned you in the description box to bring snack before watching this video 🤣 Totally agree with all your statement above. It's so comforting to have some single people eating around you. And don't worry if you are still eating alone sometime in Amsterdam, always remember that there is also one Thai woman eating her food alone in Shanghai as well. "Alone but not lonely"
Cheers Fun for sharing the delicious Shanghai food you ate in a week 😀 Shanghai food is quite popular in Australia where there are queues outside the restaurants that do not allow bookings. Does Muji serve other cuisines in addition to Chinese, Japanese and Thai? Another reason you puncture xiao lung bao before biting into them is so you don't burn your tougue 😂
L78 Keep uploading more videos like this. It will make the world a better place guaranteed. I'm here to support to your journey. Wishing you all the best. Always stay safe and connected 🤭💞
Actually 匙子 is not a common word for spoons, it used mostly in dialects. People usually call it 勺子 in common mandarin, and in southern cities like Shanghai, people call it 调羹. And yes, your video really makes me hungry!
Aha~ WuJiaoChang area.... Please film a "lost in Shanghai" episode. And get chilled in deep loneliness... I mean you can feel deep lonely sometimes in Shanghai...
you are my favorite youtuber keep going . and thanks about your advices for us . enjoy your life i am so happy when i wach your vidios
Thank you so much Attal Nora ❤️ your comment really motivates me to keep on going. Have a happy Wednesday!

Yes, some menu actually taste similar to Thai food, like some are spicy and that's what us Thai people love!
@@funfancie I’m here in Bangkok but often craving for Chinese food lol

Thank you Dean!

Omg so yummy! Where is the hot pot place?
It's a Chinese chain restaurant you can find in most shopping mall. The name is "Shabu Shabu"
@@funfancie thank you! Would you mind telling me which mall this one was in? I’m having trouble finding it 😭 is it raffles city?
@@funfancie I found one! It was so yummy and the servers were so nice!
Stay strong Fun! It not easy living and working in a foreign country
Thank you so much Sheku! Your comment makes me feel a lot better 🌈✨
如果爱吃酸甜的东西,有机会可以试试中国东北的锅包肉
我想试一试!
happy Fun everyday ^^ you are so cute
Awwww ~ thank you!
where is your beige coat from? I love ittt
Oh thank you! I actually bought it from Thailand 🌈✨
好开心 你习惯吃上海食品 有空来成都玩 吃川菜
Suggest you look for local small restaurants with Shanghai flavors. You might have new experience.
Definitely Cathy! I guess I need to really search more for local food. I really enjoy local Chinese breakfast actually.

Thank you Harry! Muji here mostly serve Japanese cuisines only. There is only one Thai menu which is the one that I have in the video 😊
Good,enjoy the life in Shanghai.
Thank you Justin!
OH! you made me sooo hungry! LOL, you just can't find the quality of food like this in the west.
Thank you Dan!

Thanks for the info Kenneth!
欢迎来上海🎉
谢谢你 🎉
first❤
Thank youuuuu xoxo ~
Try some food unique to Shanghai or eaten by natives of Shanghai, rather than what is available in other places, not least in Thailand.
Girl do you live in hotel or an apartment?😮
Apartment :)
Aha~ WuJiaoChang area.... Please film a "lost in Shanghai" episode. And get chilled in deep loneliness... I mean you can feel deep lonely sometimes in Shanghai...
I love the idea of "lost in Shanghai" PengFei. Now, I literally have it on my future video list!
you are not sorry at all @15:57
Awwwwww ~ but it's sooooo good! Thanks for watching Grant :)
$4 USD for a curry? That's so cheap. IT costs $15 at least in U.S
There are variety choices of food in Shanghai and also the price. But I always go for the price friendly options :)
chinese, thai girls looking same.😅😊
Thai girls are having bigger eyes and darker skin color 😆
