Hey Will Patterson and everyone I have a question that I have been wondering about. Is $40 too cheap to charge for a logo? That’s what I started charging a few people before and there has been some people on Reddit who asked me how much I charge and I told him $40 but some of them hadn’t got back with me yet and I’m just wondering if my pricing is too low or is it an appropriate amount. I really need somebody to give me suggestions on It.

I'm sure 100 people would give you 100 opinions on this, pricing is such a divisive topic in the design world!
Realistically, you can charge what you want, it's entirely up to you - BUT you need to consider the following:
Is my work worth the price?
Do I have enough experience to charge X?
Will the cost cover my bills/equipment/expenses?
Is this my hobby/side hustle or my job?
I've seen designs for $50 or less that look like they should be $50 or less, I've also seen logos that cost $100 that I would gladly pay $1000 for, and I've seen logos sold for $1000 that I wouldn't pay $100 for, without knowing your circumstances or the quality of your work it's impossible to give a specific answer, but hopefully this gives you some insight into what goes into deciding on a price :)
