What the purpose of swathing it first, then going back over it with the combine? Does it add some realism to the process? Not new to Farm Sim, but I don't ever recall seeing harvesting done in this manner. Awesome video by the way, and as always amazing content.
In game you get a 20% yield bonus doing it that way. In real life it was done that way so the crop could be left to dry out a bit more but don't think it's a very common practice these days

Nice Deere you have there. Love those 46 studio mods. Just wish the sounds were a little more realistic.
I don't often play with sounds on, and I haven't done while using that mod, so I can't really comment on them

It’s fairly common in Canada to swath, more so with canola, it often allows you to harvest at a earlier date

Why do farmers irl swath their crops?
It is so the crop can dry out more and reduce loss from splitting seed. Don't think it's done as much these days though

Refreshing change in gameplay
You can set the swather to lay double swaths halving actual harvest time
