How to change blades on a helical head planer/jointer

    I wanted to share my struggles changing blades on my jointer and planer. I hope you can learn from my mistakes and avoid the hastle!!

      @@bketter5 no kidding. I thought it was going to be an hour-longer project instead. My equipment was down for over 2 weeks at least. She's up and running now I guess

    Are you sure they didn't have "lock tight" on them? If so you could apply some heat to each bolt before you try to remove it....

      @@casual257 I didn't see any residue from loctite but I can't say for sure what they used from the factory

    6:15 not sure what you’re saying. 12 ft lbs is 144 in lbs, yet screen text reads 35 in lbs. 🤷‍♂️

      Sorry for the confusion. The text on the screen was the correction for me Misspeaking. Grizzly calls for 35 in pounds 👍
