After finally tired of inputing '/math' and move the cursor down to 'inline equation', I asked myself, could there be already some shortcuts? And I found your video. Really concise and useful content. I've been using those formulas for quite a long time but now I just know I can actually add color to them and even easily change the size. Man you helped me a lot. You definitely can make great work whatever your current focus is.
Have you tried looking at the KaTex documentation? This gives you a great overview of all the things you can do with Notion formulas: katex.org/docs/supported.html
Can this be helpful as a virtual board for maths? I'm looking for a virtual board that can let you write in line equations that aren't Idroo since when I download the board it gets deformed.
Hey Chris, I don't know exactly what you mean, but Notion definitely allows you to write equation and the download works without any errors. I don't know if that answers your question.
@@JanoschsWorkspace That answers my question. Idroo is a website that has a virtual board and you can write equations but when I want to download the equations as pdf it gets deformed in that website. I'll change to Notion
do you think that this would be enough for the math expecting me in CS because I was thinking of getting a ipad pro and handwrite math classes. If this would be fine I'd save the money XD
I think an iPad is just hard to beat when it comes to this. It's just much faster to write things out by hand or using an Apple pen. I personally just use Notion and when I have to do something quick I write it on paper. So it really comes down to your preference :)

I actually don't have a lot of experience doing this, but my guess would be yes. Importing big documents can be a bit painful. Maybe you could get in touch with the Notion team about this :)

You're welcome!
What if I'm importing a whole document. Do I have to manually edit each equation for each to display?
